That wouldn't do it, the install xml file picks up the admincp directory name automatically.

Just to exclude the possibility of uploading the files "as is" (with "admincp") while having a renamed the directory of vBulletin :).

I once did this mistake in one of my test servers...

:D

How about a screenshot of how the application data gets displayed, and where

It's already in the first post..

Displayed as it's own page.

If you mean how it's displayed after the application is filled out, it's just a regular thread or PM with the questions and their answers.

Did you follow the installation/upgrade instructions?
What problems are you facing?

optimus.prime 05-20-2013 10:21 AM

I upload all the files, set all the permisions for advappfiles folder, and when i try to import it, it gives me message that i have to upload all the files in order to install. I just want to mention that my admin directory isnt the deafult admincp.

Any Help Please.

Solved, i have noticed that i have uploaded one file in admincp folder wich i am not using anymore, just copied to the one i renamed and everything is working.

nhawk 05-20-2013 10:38 AM

Yep, that would do it. :)

Glad you found the problem.

Hope it will help to others.

And i got another problem. These are my settings https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1370280380 but not logged in users cannot view the Application Types. I only want logged in users to apply for positions but the Type pages should be publically viewable.

After updating to 4.2.0 did you go to ACP->Settings->Options->Application Form Settings and set the "vB 4.2 Community Menu Update" option to 'Yes'?

For being able to view the application types, be sure the unregistered/not logged in usergroup is not in ACP->Settings->Options->Application Form Settings, 'Usergroup Settings'.

Only usergroup 8 (banned users) is set but still no permissions for not logged in users. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1370331645
