Sorry I was not referring to the email notification part of the hack, but instead the "Your Notifications" drop down menu. Would like to edit the hack so that it won't notify in any part, forum or email regarding quotes.

Everything else I'd like to remain the same. Thanks!

You cannot disable individual notification types for forum notifications, the Pro version lets users decide this for themselves though :)

Well bummer. I'll see what I can't do about editing the files myself then to remove this as the vast majority of my users don't want this. Thanks for the quick reply!

I received a similar error like this before. I don't know the cause. I got a bunch of errors and then it started working again properly. Very weird.

Woodie, go to your admin panel, look down the left until you find the DBtech-User Tagging menu, under there click on forum manager and then remove all of the ticks in the Quotes boxes, I think that is what you are looking for.

Viper - you are correct. Well kind of, I was running version 2.x (what ever was current and uploaded to this thread as of a week ago). At any rate I see this hack was just updated today (per vBulletin.org) and after upgrading to the new version the options to disable quotes was there.

Unchecked them as you mentioned and all is good now. Thanks Viper and DBTech!

It's been fixed already, there was an issue in the mod if you used question marks.

How can I hide the tag box on the top of threads? I just want the @user feature.

thanks

DragonByte Tech 06-29-2012 12:51 PM

Turning off the tagged users list is a Pro-only feature :)
