Thank you for your replay. Another question, plz:

I have a lot of boards and categories inside my forum and i dont want to put more (e.g. coming from the vaultwiki).

Is there a way to hide the wiki-boards from the index, but anyway to discuss entrys (like the vbCMS-boards: They exist but they are not "viewable"...)

Hope you understand what i mean - sorry, english is not my native language.

Thx

D.

In the Forum Manager set the Wiki forum display order number to 0 (zero).

Hi,

I've just installed the lite version and am experiencing an odd problem.

When I hit the 'Start editing' button this page opens: http://www.xxxx.com/forum/misc.php?do=showsmilies

Clearly the problem is at my end and not with vaultwiki but I haven't a clue why the smilies page opens instead of the wiki article. Anyone any ideas?

Could the author of this mod comment on whether they are committed to continuing to support it through 4.2.x patches/upgrades?

Also, are there any plans to develop this for vB5 and, if so, would there be an upgrade path available?

LOL... tough questions. :D

The authors of VaultWiki intend to continue supporting vBulletin as a platform at least through current/announced versions of vB (including vBulletin 5). That said, a version for vBulletin 5 may take some time as it requires massive coding changes to most mods.

But yes, provided vBulletin doesn't do something foolish like auto-uninstall old products, there should be an upgrade path available from VaultWiki for vB4 to vB5.

I can't get any of my custom BBcodes to work in the Wiki.

thincom2000 11-14-2012 02:06 PM

How are your custom BB-Codes defined?

Thank you for this: I was looking for the answer to this question. The trouble is I could do with knowing roughly how long after vB5 goes into production stage (i.e. whenever they get out of beta and produce something we can use) it will be before there's a vaultwiki for vB5 in order to consider using this.

I'm currently running vB4.2.0 PL3 and using the vB4 content management system. I can't upgrade to vB5 as yet until they put the feature that handles CMS content back into vB5, otherwise I would lose all the content in the CMS, plus all the momentum we've built up in persuading people to put content in it.

I am considering your paid version of Vaultwiki, but if I bought and deployed it today then found that the CMS made it back into vB5 but there was no upgrade for Vaultwiki I'd then have the same problem I presently have with the absence of the CMS in vB5; so I'm holding off trying your product until I can get better information.

PS: Any updates on your plans for vB5 are helpful.
