okey ill wait for 1.4 and vbcommerce so i do them together

just a note that 1.3 is very stable if you wanted to get head start, and 1.4 will be a painless update :P Also we plan to release a stardard free version of our vBTracker software, on our site for those interested. I posted information there, support for that will be on our main site. We're just cleaning up code for that so lots of love coming down the pipe :D

What about on a fresh install of the Arcade?

Another possibility is to ask Mr. ZeroPage (a great guy and very supportive I might add) if could release "replacement files" for the arcade. Then we could just overwrite the other Arcade files with the one's you've already edited.

You can try to ask, until then I will include the two hacked files for users who dont want to make the 20+ file edits. He might like the way this new version of support works.

I think he will. I pm'd him, leaving links to this Mod and explaining that you intend to include his hacked files as part of the release for your Add-On. Told him to let myself or you know if this is not satifactory.

I can't imagine him minding, but good to let him know.

I don't think it will be long before vbCredits gets itself a spot in the Premium Modifications Area at vborg. :D

Thanks for asking him for me, I am still compiling a set of instructions for hacking it yourself, or if I am not allowed to post edited files of his.

I don't use paid subscription or anything similar. I am using the points system to get a better idea of who is a "decent" site member. To gain points they need to post or thank posts. I want to use the points score of a user to limit their site access until they have a set points score. For example :

New User -> Registered Users Group ( which has limited site functionality )
Posts & Thanks posts -> Points score rises above limit
User moved -> New Usergroup without restrictions.

I am also looking at using the "Limit Attachment Views" so that people can only view 30 attachments per day. I could use a points promotion to encourage people to post etc. so they would get unlimited attachment views.

Two important updates:

1) Ton of errors in the mass credit updating script. Should all be out now, download and upload the credits_admin.php to your admincp folder, and you're done. You can then mass award everyone, and it should have the CORRECT values! >.<

2) ibProArcade Addon is complete! Check out this post for screenshots and the download for it.
