I read this and that in this topic. So my question is: Is iCash working hassle-free with vb 3.6.5 and as I read that other similar hacks are down, because of security problems - are there any security related issues?

HELLO BLAINE!

Got a question I never seen posted here yet.. Is there a way to disable the points for anything in QUOTES? Its an easy way for people to rack them up on forums where articles are posted. I want 0 points for quotes..

Blaine0002 03-18-2007 06:03 PM

Fixed, now it will not give points for any tags IE Img Quote Code or any of the like.

ggiersdorf 03-18-2007 09:17 PM

do we need to redownload or is there a quick fix??

thanks bro...

Blaine0002 03-18-2007 09:43 PM

nah you only need to reimport the product file.

ggiersdorf 03-19-2007 11:56 AM

Thanks Blaine... One exploit still exists using the Points per post method for all you admins. If a users posts an article without quotes they get huge points. they can edit there post and than quote the article without losing points. Unless once quotes this mod removes the points generated? I doubt thats possible. Just be aware..

Blaine0002 03-19-2007 01:43 PM

yeah i dont think it is possible for the system to do that, that would need to be the admins responsibility to monitor that.

Can you explain in detail? If for example on my forum a user gets 10 points per new thread and 20 per new reply and 0 per char. How much can that user get by using your exploit?

And why can't this be solved?
