According to the error returned by firebug, the mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php file is missing in your forum root.

Ahhh! I see what happened. When I uploaded the file it somehow corrupted and was a 0kb file!

Okay, that helped me change the colors, but manually. I will take a look at how to get them to use style colors when I have a bit of time. Thanks.

Versions is 2.2.1 and I do not edit templates directly - I only use template hooks, or the Template Modification System.

I moved up the execution order of Newpost notification handling (moderation) and it seems to work now (double notification is gone). If I have more trouble I'll hunt down exactly what other mod is conflicting. Thanks :)

Yes, the issue is that the chatbox isn't displayed at all in any styles, despite being re-installed multiple times.

I've sorted through all of the options, and can't figure out the problem. :(

OK - I finally figured it out.

When creating a new channel, for instance, the Advice channel, you would refer to the image thus: mgc_cb_evo_advice (where "advice" is your unique file name).

However, you need to create two different versions of your icon, one is sharp (the sel version of the image) and the other is fuzzy (the nosel version).

You will need to name the two images thus:
mgc_cb_evo_advice_sel.gif
mgc_cb_evo_advice_nosel.gif

....then upload those two images to the channels directory.

Well if you look closely it's stated that the extension, _sel and _nosel are not to be inputed !!!

The mgc_cb_evo prefix is not mandatory at all !!

You just have to put everything in the name of your image before the _sel.gif or _nosel.gif or _new.gif, that's all.

I've tried it, but to no avail.

Its not like its an issue with a specific style though, it doesn't show on any of them including the VB Default one.

* Disable sound button
* Add actual Channel name next to channel icon or Channel Drop down
You mean a temporarly disable sound ? In addition to the one in the usercp ?

Channel name can be shown in the chatbox header, there is an option for that.
Is there any way to put a disable sound button next to the refresh button so that users dont have to go to control panel to disable sound. some users never go to control panel because there are so many options, that they get lost.
