Great mod, it has a lot of stuff I want, but a lot of stuff I don't want.

I've installed the mod on my forum and I want to edit the postbit bars. I know you operate it by hooks now but I couldn't find the source templates. Basically I want to remove the activity bar because I have no use for it. I also want to remove the "Level Completed %." Of course, I have no idea how to do this.

Any advice you have would be excellent.

Edit: Also, our EXP system starts at level 0. Is there anyway to modify the level XML to show that or not? I put in an input for (0,2000,2) but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Also I asked ages ago about the ability to manually assign achievements to users and you were going to implement it - I cant seem to find it or has it not been done yet?

I,m having problems with some post achievements - the awards are all set up correctly but the posting awards wont work correctly - for instance I have one award for having between 2500-5000 posts I set 2 conditions one saying Post more than 2499 and the other Posts less than 5000 I then clear achievements and logs and recount - problem is its only assigning this to half the users that have a post count between that number. It does these on the other awards too. I have tried changing all my posting awards conditions over to Points for Posts instead (1 point per post) but this doesnt work either.
Not sure what to do - I have deleted several of these achievements and re-created them - checked the conditions numerous times but its still not working correctly. I wondered if I'm assuming the Posts condition value wrong - I'm assuming Posts means actual posts made and nothing else? (I have 1 point awarded per post anyway so it cant be that!)

Never mind--I believe the client wants to count new posts from a certain date... I am all set with the resetting. When you reset this will shjow users current count and not start at zero..I believe this is what the client wants..

When I decrease points for all factors, user groups did not demote to the groups equal with the points. How can I solve this problem?

Without needing to read all previous 115 pages... is this mod really worth installing? I'm debating on it but 1/4 posts I read people are having issues??

How does the vbookieplugin work? What I mean is when I set an achievement up and use "vbookie Bets" as my condition, what is it counting? Just my point value per bet?

I seem to have 4-5 users that almost no matter what I set it to they keep the achievement. Ive done reconts, re-installs, deleted/re-added the achievment.....all the same.

Nevermind this hack isnt counting right for pretty much anything. I added an achievment for days since registration (5 years).....4 users won it......which is odd since our forums wont be 5 years old til march. I tried using days and points as the calculation.

At closer glance there are many calculation errors so I just shut it off. Im going to have a coder look at my install.

Q: My conditions don't work correctly on achievements and promotions.
A: Conditions in achievements and promotions are calculated in POINTS, not in count of items.
If you create an achievement for reaching the first 10 Days, you must enter the points needed for this. If you reward 2 points for every day, you have to set 2 points for every day since registering. Calculation: 10 days * 2 points = 20 as condition. So you will have to set 20 as the condition.

It does not recount immediatly, it does it only every 10 minutes. There is a cron running.

The plugins are required to connect a MOD with vBExperience. It is not the mod itself. You should overwrite an existing.


Increase the max_allowed_packet, search for it here at the forums, you are not the single one having this issue. It's only related to vBExperience.

For Plugins, does anything more have to be done after they are imported?

So I deleted all the files I had previously uploaded and re uploaded the folder 'upload via FTP' to the forum root and now I'm getting a message that says 'You need to upload files first!' when I import the 'product_vbexperience404.xml' file

Sorry to bug you once more, Phalanx, but is it possible to make it so that moderators can add custom experience amounts VIA the modCP? I noticed there weren't any files in the upload indicating such, so I was wondering if you can add this into a future release.

I'm getting the same message as MAdotcom when I add the product after I have installed all the files through FTP that are in the upload_via_ftp folder. Is there something that can be done to fix that? I'm using vBulletin 4.0.2 Patch Level 1.
