I'm adding different blocks to different subforums, but ALL of the blocks are showing up on the main forum page. They are filtering great on the subforums, but how do I keep them all from stacking up on the main forum page? I've got a set of blocks already that I'd like on the main forum home, but not any of these additional "new forum thread" boxes.

I'm having trouble understanding the instructions of "To hide a block from all forums just add "blockid:"."

So I want to display block 15 in ONLY forum 13, so which is the correct configuration because I've tried them all:

blockid:block_threads_15:13
block_threads_15:13blockid
blockid:15

Can you further explain how/where to put "blockid:" within the "Filter Blocks by Forums"? Or should I be filtering by pages?

Thanks for the response but I'm afraid I'm still getting the wrong results.

I'm testing this out with two different blocks, sent to two different forums.

For example, my Camping forum is #13 and I am sending block_threads_15 to that forum (successfully)
My Biking forum is #20 and I'm sending block_threads_23 to that forum (successfully again)

All of my other forums are not seeing these blocks, successfully again.

But what I do have a problem with is both of those blocks are displaying on my main forum sidebar, which I do not want. I've got 19 potential blocks that I will be sending to the 19 different subforums and I don't want all 19 of them displaying on the main forum page.

In the screenshots below I'll show the configuration I've got. I've got the correct "filter blocks" code for the two blocks and forums (right?) and then I'll show you how both of these blocks are displaying on my main forum page, but then filter out in the subforums correctly. I've even attached a screenshot of where neither of my filtered blocks are showing in the unrelated forums, that is working correctly also. I just don't want these blocks to show on my main forum home.

ooh, I think I might have found the solution. I've added "forumdisplay" to the Filter Blocks by Pages so it won't show on forum.php

I think it's working now :)

On another note, oddly enough it still shows on the showthread page (which is great!) even though I didn't specify that.

Sorry if that was your intended instruction all along, I just assumed that the "filter by forum" would have taken care of all of that.

First please update the mod to 1.5.2 as there is abug in 1.5.1

Second yes if you enable the block for forum say 13 then the block will show up on the forum display and on its threads. It is intended.

I update forum to 4.2 and ES to 1.5.2. When I enable plugin, sidebar alwayys shows on right side, even if I set it to 'Left' in AdminCP->Options->Forum sidebar and block options. If I disable Everywhere sidebar, then sidebar shows on left.

Prior to upgrading to vBulletin 4.2.0, the Side Bar Gold version 2.2.7. functioned.

Following the vBulletin upgrade, the Side Bar Gold version 2.2.7. disappeared.

I have now updated to the Side Bar version 2.2.8, and the side bar, again, doesn't show.

Are there more explicit installation instructions for this?

Functionality question:

You upload "cssrollup_everywhere_sidebar.xml" to /includes/xml directory.
You import product-everywhere_sidebar_1.5.2.xml

The default CMS option to add a Widget Poll along the right column... the Polls only display if people are logged in. The poll will not display to guests.

does your mod make it so Polls in sidebar can appear to all ? (guests as well)

I've installed the gold version (2.2.9) on vBulletin 4.2.0.
Added the following filters:

Filter Blocks by Usergroup ID?
block_threads_1:5,6,18

The users are assigned into Primary Usergroups and and Custom(Additional) usergroups.

I still can't get the blocks to display for users that are assisgned to group 18 as one of their Additional usergroups.

(Filter Blocks by forums and Filter Blocks by Pages are both blank and I confirmed the block ID's with setting the Block Configuratuion switch)

Any suggestions?

Installed the newest version (2.2.10) and the Filter by Usergroups, (using Additional Usergroup ID's) works now.

How can I change the width of the sidebar for everywhere else?

Great Addon.

Running VB4.2 and having issues with blocks not hiding in the forums.

I have 3 blocks defined.

First is a General Menu that I want on all pages and this works fine.

Second I have the new posts set to show only on the forum pages by setting
block_newposts_1:forumdisplay,index and this works great.

I then have a 3rd block that I want to show on one custom page only.
So I have added Blockid:block_html_2:custompage1

This works fine and as expected and the General Menu block shows on all pages and custom page.

The New Posts also only shows on the forum and index pages as expected.

The 3rd block appears on the custom page but not on any other custom pages brilliantly as expected.

BUT if I go into the threads and other parts of the forums the 3rd block appears?

I have THIS_SCRIPT for the cutom pages set to unique names and have checked their is no conflicts with other pages.

Any ideas?

Sorry I pasted wrong in my post, I do not have the Blockid: in front of block_html_2:custompage1 I do have block_html_2:custompage1

I have made it active on my page to show what I mean.

If you click on Welcome tab you see just the first menu block.

If you then click on CNC Router tab you get first menu block and next menu block which is great.

Then if you goto other tabs you only get the first menu block like you should.

If you go Forum tab then you get first menu block and then new posts blocks which is great.

NOW as soon as you click on a thread, you get all three menus :(

Is there anyway to get this mod to work on activity.php as a custom page. I have done all the steps except for the last bit. There is no $templater->render(); on activity.php

I have one problem with the free version and vb4.2 patch 1 - the Blog "Create New Post" button text becomes extremely hard to read with this mod installed. Any ideas how to fix this?

After upgrading vB 4.2, ESB gpt push to the bottom of the page forum before the footer. Need help on this. I got Gold license.

Another thing is that the copy right note is still at the bottom of the footer and I could not find the template to take it out.

Need help.
