Thanks for the awesome mod.

I have a few issues though:

1: Users cannot purchase gifts created by other users in the gift market, it returns a blank screen when tried.

2: Extra zeros get added to gift prices such as 500 being 500.00000

Any help would be appreciated.

I am getting the same problem as some others. I noticed after the an upgrade to VB that anytime I go to the store and try and buy something, I will get a no permission message even though the settings are correct in usergroups and under settings & staff permissions. So I upgraded this mod and yet still can not make any purchases.

Running the latest version of this mod and vb 4.1.2

You should force the permissions Again:

First Deny the permission for a group, and then allow again the permision.

In this way you can "refresh" the settings to force writting in database correct values.

I hope you can fix it.

I checked the date format for the transaction history, which is what I'm assuming you are viewing and it worked correctly. Did you make any custom edits to any of the market templates?



As for good news, tomorrow will be Beta 2. In this release, we have vBExperience Achievements Market Item now working and the ability to individually choose each Primary/Secondary Usergroup that the user is promoted to for each item rather than relying on a global options within the market settings. This will allow for greater customizations.

There is also a half a dozen bug fixes in this release :)

no, I did no customization templates pointmarket just update it and nothing else, just that the date goes well and just not shown as it as the screenshot. for the rest works fine

The Refund Button is not working under Firefox (4) in User Title Strike. Only works in IE.

Tested on vBulletin 4 default style.

Umm I accidentally fell asleep while downloading firefox 4 yesterday to test that bug lol. I'll get it up after work this evening

I am having the exact same problem, all settings are correct, I refreshed it in the way you suggested it made no difference. I still get the you do not have permission to access this page. message when I log in as a member.
When I log in as an admin, I can use the gift shop. But I have checked all member permissions and they are set the same as the admin permissions.

What am I missing here? Desperate for an answer!

Tried, and still same issue. Gives a no permission message. I can access the store, but once I click on an item, it gives the no permission message.

Maybe the people that are experiencing this problem have installed 3.1 series cleanly. I've been using this mod since the 1st version, so I think that there is a mistake writting the permissions in the database. I've the permissions configured before upgrading 3.X series.

Maybe if you uninstall the mod and install the previous version for set the permissions, and then upgrade to B1 you can get it work.

Anyway TheMayhem will release a fix soon.

Okay this is the official release post for Beta 2.

Beta 2 finishes two incomplete items with the vBExperience market item addition working and the ability to change each primary usergroup you create and secondary. You need to go edit your usergroup market items after doing this upgrade to correctly select the right usergroup.

In addition, there are about a half a dozen bug fixes. Beta 2 really is a lot more stable as the bug reports have really slowed down in the recent weeks and I recommend it to everyone who has been holding off on upgrading in a while or installing it. Below is the bug fix:

** Banking deposit minimum error is showing min. widthdrawel instead of deposit error
** Security flaw found with market_purchase.php by using poor sanitzation
** market_store_purchase.php is causing a mysqli_result as array error because of $cid
** Custom Gifts available is showing 5 decimals instead of what the user has selected
** Custom gift purchase producing a file does not exist error
** Infinite loop occurring on User Title reset after multiple pages
** Refund button not working on Firefox 4

I very much hope everyone enjoys the release. I started working on the coupon listings page; however, it is still incomplete. I am going to get that finished for Beta 3 and maybe the store download an item feature or screenshot section. I hope everyone continues to support this massive store addon that I have created. Remember, all of your feedback and support help shapes how it is scripted and what is added. :)

Another problem cropped up.

User created gifts can be purchased but when they are, a random gift item (not the one listed) appears on the customer's gift box.

Also i don't think points are being given to users that are selling gifts.

can you explain how to use the converter properly? I'm not sure what I put in the Point Field

really really thanks for this feature =)

everything look working fine, expect the Item's that we have to put a username when we buy, we get a message " No users were found with that username. ", of course the username we put was right, but I don't know why this happen.

and yes I notice in the " Secondary Usergroup Change " Items, when we buy them our username color change to the color of the group we buy, but since it's just a secondary usergroup it shouldn't change the color of the primary usergroup, I hope you fix it ^^"

anther thing is the discount in the market, if a user have 3 usergroup, the market will detect the lowest discount in the usergroup and choose it, I hope you make the market detect the highest discount in usergroup instead.

The point's transfer is not working in Beta2. Can you release a patch code or something? Point's transfer is very important in my forum.

Anyways, this is the official Beta 3 release post. I released this early because there was a very small mistake in beta 2 that made it so users could not donate &/or purchase items for other users. Unfortunately, there are no new features or completed sections in this release because I ended up rolling it out about a week sooner then I was expecting. However, I did finally address several long standing bug issues related to the gifts, gift market, and custom gift creation. Below is the bug fixes:

Now with this being release we are now in the month of April. Unfortunately & fortunately, I am graduating at the end of this month (Thank God). This also means I'm about to be unemployed (FUDGE) so my schedule will be busier then normal. I'll be looking to probably pickup some extra cash this summer with this mod by offering new market items that users want to pay for or something along those lines to bring in some extra cash, but will also as always keep this mod free as a full version mod here on vBulletin.org. Also, since I'll be interviewing and busier then normal, i won't be able to get the weekly releases on this forum like I've done in the past :( In 2 weeks, I'll attempt to release Beta 4, which should have more completed sections in it. The following release will probably occur during the first week of May. I'm sorry I can't get more out there than that; however, like I said I'm busy and cash strapped.

Thanks again for the continued support of this mod and we are getting closer to a completed product. I will say this mod is very stable anymore and is definately way better than 3.0x series :)

The Converter is still there unless you turned it off for a usergroup

Point Field would be like what is your primary usergroup? ex: ucash, market_xperience, and so forth. This is the field that will receive your points.
