Simple and plain: No.

OK. It did not hurt to ask.

How about fixing it so that the journal owners has more editing capabilities. An example would be if I typed my journals out of sequence and I did not noticed it. Then when I realize it I would like to be able to put them in the correct sequence?

You want to edit the timestamp?
Although I don't see a real need for that - why not.

Thank you. This will help me with what I want. Category would be nice also but you said no and I will leave it at that for now.

It does not have to be a timestamp edit. I would just like to be able to put the journals in order and if someone forgot a journal then It could be inserted somehow. I can explain more if you would like. Would you mind if I PM'd you?

I have another suggestion. I have my test journals set up so that unregistered users can leave comments. Can you set it so that it realizes that it is a unregistered user leaving a comment and added another block for either a name or signature please?

Installed and running smoothly.

It would be cool if you could implement multiple journals per user, as I run a writing forum, and this would help keep the stories in one place.

For some reason, my users cannot comment. The comment itself does not show up, but there is a little "Posted by [user] at [time]" but no comment beneath it.

Anybody know anything?

@Cedric_FP
Multiple journals/user is not a planned feature at the moment.

Did you upgrade from a previouse (3.0) version?

If so, revert your templates.

@atroll
Entries are sorted by the timestamp.
So if you want to have a different order, you want to edit the timestamp.

Also, how would you want to categorize journals?
I honestly don't see any condition that could be applied.

If entries are sorted by timestamp how can a journalist edit it to fix it so that it goes in the proper order if they put one in at a later date. Is that something new you are putting in the next upgrade?

I can explain why I want categoies but if others would also like to see them then they need to speak up too I think.

The reason I would like categories is that if I install this in my web site I will need my journals categorized by year. My journals will be for people hiking the Appalachian Trail here in the USA. When users hike this trail they send letters home to relatives with there hand written journals in them from each day of there hike. The relative then hand types their journal onto the web site. The journal entries usually have an average of 300 entries in them. So since this will be something that I will keep online if I install it I need to have is set up by years. This way it would be easier for people reading the journals. If I did not have them categorized then after a period of time the listing for journals would be in the thousands. But if I categorize it by year then others can pick the year the journal was written rather then look through thousands of journal entries that I will eventually have. Also if people just want to read this years hiking journals then they could pick 2005 for this year and not have to try and look through all the other journals and try and figure out which ones are from this years hikers.

This is also the reason I need some sort of time stamp editing. Because sometimes the postal service loses mail and it arrives weeks later. If this happens then journals need to be type in and put in and inserted in the proper order to where they were suppose to be put in.

I hope this better explains why and what I need this for. I am hoping you understand and will work with me on this. Maybe others will need this type of option too.
