it works for me on 3.03, but there a some small errors left...and the creator of the hack is not back until Christmas/New Year...

There is a odd thing though.
If you post in the guestbook you can edit it. ok
but why would the owner of the guest book be allowed to edit? That is odd. A guest book is like a email that sticks. Users will change what people post to the guest book to what ever they like. A girl could say nice page and a owner of that page can change it to I am a hore dont talk to me if they got into a fight. Get my point? any idea how to change that?

Also z-index works on this. in otherwords if a user has a webpage they can cover thier whole profile with HTML. that is a security bug. They could mimic the site this way.

I am not having much luck in getting this working. I have checked the instructions carefully, but nothing is displaying and when I go to user groups to check the preferences they are not being remembered by the system.

I thought that it may be to do with the last two steps, one of which doesn't seem to be working as there is no update button in vBulletin Options > Guestbook / Webpage Preferences only a save button. I have clicked this but am still getting blank pages in the User CP.

Is there a option to autodelete guestbook entrys after a specified period of time. for example, all entrys older than 15 days are being deleted automatically ?

does anyone know why the image tag does not work if i use [imagetag]url[/imagetag] it only shows the url to the image but not the image itself.

I am using this so dont think I dont like it. But there are somethings that are not good about it as well.

1. There is no way at all for an admin to delete a webpage. So if I put porn on my page the admin can not close it delete it edit it nothing. (yes... I know... before you jump at the reply) You can delete the account but that is just too much sometimes.

same goes for the guestbook. yet the user can do all they feel.... ;) at ChuanSE

2. You can not set a auto size for the guestbook. (like a character limit) and say I want it to stop at 3 entrys and flip over. right now I belive its 10.

besides that. AWSOME.

I love it too. However, it would be cool if the user could create additional multi-pages too. Right now, it's limited to pruning older entries or simply dealing with an extremely long webpage should the user decide to retain ALL of their entries. Is there anyway to probably incorporate some added changes?

it looks like a nice hack, I think I'll wait till the new year when its more stable, a lot of the sugguestions above sound great as well.

* What about removing the "Edit" part for messages on a users guestbook page? But keep Edit for his own messages. That should make things a bit better don't it? Administrators will still be able to edit ALL messages though.

* Admin removal of a webpage... I can make that happen. Small "Delete" button will appear.. umh somewhere on the user's page.

you have it set to 735 = forced width... not good.
ALSO, appears the HTML code is broken. Try downloading the latest copy of this script and update the contet of "memberinfo" and member.php.

I will make it so that it won't appear at all if no webpage is set. that is in a future release though.
