ptbyjason, do you have other hacks installed? I find it typical that I can get this hack to work without a problem on my unhacked vbtest forum and that it won't save the scores on my live forum on which I installed vbadvanced, nntp gateway and vbxirc (and an unused and uninstalled version of vbindex).

Oh, it's showing "score: 0" to everyone so it appears we have different problems.

Can someone tell me how I can find out if these problems are related to the database?

The attachment below is working very perfectly with my style. However, with the GOld version default style, it is just come out is a blank page because 26 templates CAN"T to be added in an automated process in default style.

Why is this happen? Anyone has any ideas about it?

You can download the ones on the list at the beginning of the thread...

Upload the two images files to the ...forum/images/arcade/ folder
Upload the ****.game.php file to the forum/admincp/ folder
upload the ****.swf file to the forum/games/ folder

go to yourURL/forum/admincp/****.game.php to install the game and then delete the file...

Had anyone here have a problem with Hexxagon game. Actually it is install very perfect to my board, but when I click to play to load to 99% then stop....never get to be 100% so I can play.

Do you have any ideas about it, John?

I noticed something today that I didn't before. One of my members holds the championship title for simon, but in the postbit, that title is not appearing. It is instead appearing for another member, who has not even played simon. Is there a way to fix this?

I was wondering what your intention was by posting those msgs.
Somewhere deep down, you want to point out that many ppl are not php guru's and could need a little help or more support from the hack authors.

im having a small showing the items on the postbit... as in chalenge... and the champion awards...... ive done what it said on the postbit ... anything else i need to check?

Edit the postbit_legacy template too if you are using legacy....

Got this working on Gold by doing the file edits too. Thanks for this hack. Deserves the award it got! 3 days, 13 hours, 43 minutes and 46 seconds spent playing games by my members. :D

I searched the thread and didnt see this mentioned...

The Hack is GREAT - Installed fine BUT - I seem to have lost the PM popups...

Is it possible that the hack has changed the way the system handes PM popups ??

If so where would I look for the correction ???

Is there anyone else who still has the problem that scores aren't being saved? I just checked each file and while the hack does work on my test forum, it won't work on the live one.

I searched this thread couldn't find this error, but apologies if it's been posted. I've gotten this error about 5 times today:

There's a syntax error in that query:

Should be:

UPDATE games SET highscore=289 WHERE shortname='mcsnake'
The error should be in arcade.php, take a look.

EDIT: I see the problem...I removed some users who had the high score on the particular game and it's screwing things up...just gotta remove their high scores and we'll be good to go.

Could someone please help me with the problem I mentioned earlier? I got more data on it, and apparently, the user DramaQueen, played simon and got a score of 7. This was nowhere near the incredibly high score that SoftBallRawkStar already had (36), and yet the championship is now appearing for DramaQueen in the postbit, and in the arcade profile. It still shows SoftBallRawkStar as the champion in the high scores list. I really badly need to fix this because SoftBallRawkStar is very proud of her high score and feels it is very injust that DramaQueen holds the championship for it.

I have a theory on what's going on here. Perhaps no one expected anybody to get a score that high on simon. Maybe although it still shows up as 36, internally, it started at zero again at 30. This would make the internal score that determines the championships 6, which is one less than DramaQueen's 7. Is this possible?

If you ever find a fix I'd love to know it since it's lacking an uninstall option and the arcade is quite useless at it is right now.
