I don't know why it took me so long to notice this. Maybe it was after the 4.1.12 update...
On a user's profile page (even though sidebar is set to no), their profile picture will not display if Everywhere Sidebar is enabled. If I disable it, it displays properly. Same behavior on the default theme as well. Upgraded to 1.5.1 and on custom pages the sidebar showed up on the right (I have it set to left) and the content of the page was hidden below somewhere. I had an ad that played a movie so I know it was in there somewhere but hidden. Downgraded to 1.5. I really do need to upgrade to Gold. I've seen slow on everything :-(. |
This is a wonderful add-on thanks

Does downgrading fix the profile page on your forum? You can control sidebar position from the mod options. To get faster response you can contact me by hitting http://vbfixer.com/posting.php?mode=post&f=5 then select other from the radio buttons and write your message. My apologies again for slow response. Quote:

The downgrade fixed the problem with the sidebar being on the right side and the content being hidden below it on custom pages. It is configured to be on the left. On the profile page it just displays the default unknown picture with a question mark. Does this mean it's breaking the profile image variable? Calling it from a template that isn't configured forint or something? Thanks |

Sure thing... What all do you need from me? Login?
If you go to my profile (http://www.cricketusers.com/members/chrisngrod.html), I should have a picture. In chrome it comes up without, IE loads the unknown image. Here is default theme and on/off comparison. I guess it does this with the avatar on that page as well. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1337353611 |

I was about to hack my template to add sidebar to the thread views, but if this works, it's worth the $29.
But I'm totally confused about what to install and where to get it. The "gold" version is the paid version? The free version is out of date? Bottom line: I suspect it's faster for me to modify my template and add the sidebar to the other views than navigate this thread and order something that may not work in my heavily modified theme. |

You can use that link kind sir. |

How do you fix the space between the forum block and the forum. I have a gap thats about 50 px wide. I would like for it to only be a couple pix as it is pushing a part of my 300x250 advert off the screen.

intval($vbulletin->options['esidebar_width'])+1) in like 10 locations and reuploaded it into the plugin manager selecting overwrite and nothing happened. I also cleared my browser and site cache just in case. Any other suggestion? |

Have you changed all instance? |
Hi all -
MY QUESTIONS ARE: 1) Can I hide/remove the title of the box? That takes up space and I don't need a title. 2) Can I remove the surrounding box/border? 3) There's a wide space between my ESB column and my forum area (about 60px). I used firebug to try to find out why. Any pointers? Others may've asked this, but there are so many thread now for ESB... I can't find it. THANKS |

intval($vbulletin->options['esidebar_width'])+ Is there anywhere else it should be changed? |

2.No 3 https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....postcount=1532 You can't find what?? Quote:
Things you may try 1. uninstall the product 2. If you edited the mod templates manually you need to remove them 3.Install the new changed product. |
Thanks for the prompt response. BUT...
I uninstalled the product... then I replaced the occurrences of... intval($vbulletin->options['esidebar_width'])+20 with... intval($vbulletin->options['esidebar_width'])+10 But I still have a large gap. The gap was NOT present until I selected the option in 'Settings/Options' to selected 'yes' on the 'Don't Hide ESB Switch'. WHAT AM I MISSING ? >> You can't find what?? sorry , i meant that i couldn't find guidance on how to do this. |
Quote:
The only workaround for now is to set "Don't hide ESB switch." to No or set the sidebar to bigger values like 250 or 270px Thank you |

Now how do I get the gap between each object in the forum block down. Lots of white space between each Item I have to get rid of. |

i did a few steps of the custom but i didnt get were the temper was so i just gave up |
How can I auto hide the sidebar for users viewing at a low resolution? Say 1024 X768?
I've hidden the collapse switch, and I don't want complaints coming from those members saying it's made the main content window too small. |

Version 1.5.2 of the product "works" with vBulletin 4.2 with one caveat. There is a new activity stream feature added (activity.php) and there is no way to enable sidebar for the Activity Stream from the settings.
