I found a bug.
In my homepage (using vBadvanced) sometimes it shows broken images in the Online Users module... with links like
http://www.mywebsite.com/images/misc...d_activity.png

There must be something wrong, as that's not the right path to my pictures. It should be
http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/mysty...d_activity.png

Suddenly the items bought in shop shows twice - though only bought once. What could be the reason for this - and eventually the solution to the problem?

Sad to read. You have just to copy the award to every skin, nothing more. I'll try to include in next versions a possibility to include awards from everywhere, so f.e. independable from styles.

Doing awards based on a time frame is very difficult as many data vBExperience is collecting does not have a timestamp. Also, this would mean I have to collect that data and store in database, which means I'm collecting much more data.

There is non. You can use every column of xperience_stats for that.

In postbit - but the problem seem to have cured itself - as everything now is back to normal. Maybe a recount fixed it..??

after recount several times, most users are still in level 1 even i change the level product. do i miss anything??

Seems you are taking a too high level.

could i just add for the simpletons like me ... thats the query position to change to stop admin etc getting all the awards is in 'manage awards' then in 'edit award' for each award.

If you set it to 0 it will go to the person with the highest count of whatever the award is for, set it to 1 and it will go to the person with the second highest, 2, to the person with the third highest and so on.

Most of my awards are set to 2 because me and my head admin if not get all the medals.

It is a great hack and my members are loving it, thank you :)

The user didn't even appear, what appear is (I assume) the last 20 transaction log NOT all of them, and nothing for the user I demanded.

Installed.. Nice mod.. Except ive got 1 major problem..

When i installed it.. i had 4 members on line.. A moderater, A VIP silver.. Myself and a Reg, User..

As soon as the VIP & Mod posted anything their status was taken off them and they were demoted back down to Registered user..

Is this something to do with the promotional part of vbExperience.??

I had that happen as well, I would also change some postbit icons. It seems it just needs some time and it will fix itself and get the new icon.

Is there any way I can choose the order of the shop icons show up for everyone in postbit? I thought numbering the shop icons would put them in order but it doesn't seem to do that.

I remember reading somewhere else in this thread that it would be very complicated to make icon reordering possible. I don't think Phalynx has plans to introduce that feature.

Also, it says that icons should be 16X16, and you shouldn't show more than 5. Is this because it makes the boards go too slow if you try this, or what's limiting it?

My question is how to dliver the purchased item to the members who bought it.

For example, if the item purchased is a video clip how the member will get the link and download it? Where I have to enter the link of the item in ACP?

In my eyes it does not make sense if there are dozens or even more icons in every reply of the user. You can change the limits in settings. The 16x16 limit is not setable, it depends which gfx you are using.

The normal picture appears if you call the details of the item.

I had a compatibility issue with the thanks mod. I have vbexperience configured so the bars appear at the right of the postbit, before upgrading to the last vbexperience version, the bars just showed below the thanks info. But after upgrading, the thanks count was replaced by the bars.

I was able to manually fix it by editing the vBExperience (postbit stats) plug-in so the $template_hook is not replaced with vbexperience bars, but rather this mod appends the data (ie, use .= instead of =).

I have vbseo and it's been working fine for a week or two been testing it so i don't think vbseo is the problem. There is a readme file where he tells you tips to customize this add-ons so it goes easier on your server did you try that?

Also to above users, I have vbSEO and vBExperience running and both have been running together for months.

Indeed - the reason I mentioned seo, was that I recently upgraded it to 3.2.0 and since that the server went a bit scatty.

Having removed VBE, no issues at all....that's not to say it was/wasn't seo, but something conflicted enough to break my server...optimization not withstanding, and uninstallation not withstanding, the mod IS a quality mod, and as soon as I can get to the bottom of the issue, it will be getting reinstalled :D

Set the points thing to "Experience" instead of "Posts" if you want it to take away from the overall experience.


Favicon.cc is a great site for making 16 x 16 icons. It might not be the greatest but it is the best I have found. You can shrink an image, make transparent pixels, put in nearly any color of pixel and even get animated icons!

You don't have to have 16x16 icons though. You can take just about any image of any size and put it in postbit. If it is too big though it will stretch out your forums.
