Bare with me while I get em together, but yeah no problem. |
So is there a chance you can make one for V4.1.11 for me? I'm sure we can come up with $omething to compensate you for your time. If you want any server info I can get it for you. My ISP just built me a server that is for running PHP sites. I'm there guinea pig. He set us up with a rocket ship of a server. It's a quad duel core processor with 56 Gig or Ram IIS V7 and PhP V5.3.18
I just tried DB Tech's member map they came out with. But it shuts down my Pm system and visitor messaging. Kind of a bummer because it had potential. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=293495 Camoit. http://www.mightyram50.net |
Hi soniceffect,
nice one, indeed :) May I suggest an improvement? Wouldn?t it be nice, the members could be added automaticly to the map through a custom profile field? What I have in mind is a profile field where the user are typing in their location like "London" (at best while registration, for all others it?s a required field, so they have to stop by to continue posting) and a switch "Shall your location be visibile to other forums members in our MemberMap? (Guests have no access to the MemberMap)". That way all users would be informed about the new MemberMap feature, all members have to check the settings and - as experience tells us - the vast majority of new registrations would enable the visibillity. I guess this would improve the numbers of visible members in the map drasticly ;) |
