Thanks, How i can set the path under puplic_html not under vb

I mean downloads.php file , i want to use it under my web site direct xxx.com/downloads.php

not under xxx.com/forum/downloads.php

its possible ?

Hello,

Kindly i need help,

I have issue that when i click on download of file

For example:
http://xxx.com/vb/downloads.php?do=f...889b7fd8a69434

I check the permissions all is well.

some time i get this error:

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Am use DownloadsII v1.5.1 for VB 3.8.6 patch level 1

Please help, all of a sudden my downloads start opening in a new window, instead of being saved as a file. And they come out like this "s2ma��SGm????VV6o}......"

I have not put any extensions under the settings to "open in window". I have also uploaded tons of files of the same format with no problem, until today, which is so strange cause I have not changed any settings! It still downloads fine with IE, but im getting this problem with firefox, and another fren with firefox has this problem too.

Please help!

please please help. im still having this problem and i dunno whats wrong. it was totally fine a few days ago. im using vb 3.8

the downloads work fine in IE but not firefox

Reset firefox and add ons, the file name you are getting is a temporary filename as it attempts to open it live, the reset of the browser settings back to default should work fine :)
