The latest version of Gold solves this issue. I can now store CSS as a file.

Thanks for finally sorting it out, it was the only thing that I hated about this mod.

I don't discorage people from getting the gold but the free version also supports storing css as files.

Yup fully agree, however, we needed the features of Gold, plus the unbranding ;)

However, today is the first time that we have been able to properly use the store CSS as a file for months.

There seems to be an issue that for a few seconds on page load, when a user has the sidebar set to collapse, there is a big strip where the sidebar is supposed to be until the page resizes to full size. It's a bit ugly and members are complaining about it. Does anyone have any ideas what causes it or how it can be fixed?

Is there a way to not load the contents of the sidebar if it's collapsed? Perhaps a variable that I could do an if then statement on.

My concern is that if I run google ads in the sidebar and a user collapses it then I'll be running adsense ads that are hidden, and get my account banned.

You can force it not to collapse at all.

Sure, but that wouldn't be cool. I'd like to be able to collapse the sidebar, but don't want to risk getting kicked out of adsense. I looked at the demo site http://last24tech.com/forum.php and when the sidebar is collapsed the google ads still appear to be displayed (when viewing the source code).

It would be nice to add a simple "if collapsed do nothing, else show google ads" to the template.

Well, this would be nice to do to the entire sidebar so that there isn't the loading issue I'm having either, and it will cut down on page load too.

Don't know if this is possible!!
The collapse function is done on the client side and the page already loaded so I doubt it will usefull.

If you have loading problem you can do the following to enhance your website speed.
1. Use sore css as file
2. Don't use too many blocks that's is calling the DB. If it is a must then use some of these block on somepages and others on other pages. E.g block1 will show on forums page block2 will show on threads and so on.
3.You can also use ajax to load blocks after page loads.

The only loading problem is that with the sidebar collapsed, it has a big gap on the right of the page for about a second until it collapses. Will 'store CSS as file' fix this?

I have question on this ESB: Can I do it with differrent ads for different pages? It seems at the moment, it is the same for every pages.

Well, if you register and have the right to vote then you will see that it doesn't work. It only works if you have already voted or you don't have the right to vote.
Otherwise the sidebar is messed up.
Try it for yourself at the link above.

First, I truly like this mod... to the point. I also purchased one and looking forward for the upgrade as follow:

1) Should able to activate two sidebars, left and right.
2) Should able to individually turn on the different blocks for different location on the website.
3) Should able to put it horizontally everywhere in CMS, FORUM and Bloc, as well as custome pages.

I love to upgrade and pay additional cost.

Did that. But still I'm getting requests to /clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00006l/forumbits.css,forumhome.css,widgets.css,sidebar.cs s,options.css,tagcloud.css which throws a 404. :(

This is related to store style as file. You need to make sure to chmod the vbulletin_css directory to 777. You make sure that directory styleXXXXX does exist after switching store to file Off then On.

You can search vbulletin.com for similar situations

I have exactly the problem itself. The solution does not work.
The problem occurs only when I turn on this mod.

Can you check which of these files that does not exist in the styleXXXXX directory

To Get Support:

• Hit Mark as Installed from top right.
• You have to put your website link or your vbulletin version.

Like explained, we changed this so custom blocks will show. Right now with that function custom HTML blocks do not show.

Changing back the function and using the code below works but then it triples the blocks.

Changing back the function to default and using capital 'Ul' and 'Li' works but than it doubles the blocks :/

Don't know what you want? You started that you have error in the registration page !!!

Anyway i advice you to use the default mod don't use codes from here and there. If in some cases you have a <li> tag in some custom block then just replace the <li></li> with <LI></LI> in the custom block and you are done.
