Edit and enter the following:
That should get you fixed up hopefully as long as everything is the same for each site and shit like that

but if it dont work for you then just undo that and wait for the next version or try to do what i did and find everything yourself

well, those links will NOT work for everyone because what you put is based on phraseids... which will be different for each website.

what i was talking about was this:

and instead you should go search for credits_pm_lottery_subject, for example

did that and all that i found was

setting_credits_pmid_desc

really. are you getting PMs from donations and awards?

that setting phrase is just what it shows for that setting - im talking about the phrases that it LINKS to. the [global] part was wrong (i think they are [credits_global] now), but the [credits_**etc**] stuff should still be there if you search by VARIABLE NAME (not text - you have to select to search by variable name...)

if you still cant find that stuff, send me an admin login with language permissions, and i will walk you through it

Hi I think this is a mod my new board would benefit from greatly, so thank you for the good work put into it. A few questions

At the beginning I see you were looking to integrate this into vbookie? Has this now happened? As I am running 3.6.8 with vbookie, and in an ideal world want to add some sort of arcade or casino mod, but they all link to the same points/cash sourse so users have one amount for the site. With your mod it is perfect to earn points, creating threads etc which I like.

Can you let me know if this is compatible with vbookie on 3.6.8 and if you recommend a mod that offers gaming/gambling to add that would also be compatible with your mod.

Sorry to drag on, im pretty new to vbulletin but eager to get my head around it etc

there is also a casino here at vborg which is easily configured to use credits :)

Hey dark, I got a question I am using vb 3.6.4. I did the old-version edit to the file but when I import product, I am getting an error message saying I need to do the edits. Any suggestions?

Also the only reason I upgrade to v1.4 of vBCredits is because I couldn't get the "Credits: x" to show up on the postbit, if you could also tell me how I could do that, that would be great. Thanks!

Is there any way (or any mod) that can allow me to track members monthly activity and overall credits? I often have monthly contests, and this month I am using Credits based participation for the first time. Basically, member with the most Credits in the month of April wins. But I its hard to record everyones total credits the 1st of the month, then add em all up at the end of the month. I do have the Statistics mod, and I can see monthly post counts etc, but I would like a way to track monthly Credits.

Is this possible? TIA

alright, then check the following:

run the template edit test thing to make sure that the automatic template edit was successful (sometimes if your style doesnt have the "find" code, it wont get applied..

then check your settings if it still doesnt show up:
in the global settings, is visibility set to "nobody" (or nothing)?
in usergroup settings, is your usergroup set to excluded from vbcredits?
are you looking at a user who belongs to a usergroup that is excluded from vbcredits or is set to hide their credit totals?
are you in a forum which you set to hide all credit totals?

if still no to all of the above, its possible theres a conflict with another hack, in which case you should send me an admin login, and we will go from there.

does that happen every time? do you get errors on other queries unrelated to vbcredits? it looks more like something is wrong with your mysql server than the query itself.

try repairing and optimizing your database tables. if still nothing or you dont know how, pm me an admin login with query permission, and i can see what i can find. youre the very first i know of that this has happened to

if they have access to the modcp they should be able to alter the amount directly in the user editor.

or, use the post award system, and give your mod usergroup nonzero limits (and enable them to award negative amounts, aka subtraction permissions)

nope, but why bother? every amount gets taxed no matter how small.

you could always turn on moderation for those donations, but really what is the harm? :-p

you incorrectly applied the template edit, most likely chopping off the ending </if> tag from the find code when you pasted it in. undo it and try again

May I ask how come you don't have more banking option so you can only allow a person to borrow xx times per day and xxxx credits per loan? Great plugin btw! :)

arent there enough settings for limiting loans? you can already specify a minimum, a maximum, maximum concurrent, interest/repayment cycles, rates, fees, etc...

I can't find the option in how much you can loan / borrow from the bank max, and how many times per day.

was originally for v1.3 of vbcredits so if you apply that directly it will be missing places

did you apply the template edits?

maximum amount per loan is a usergroup setting. there is no max per day option because i figured it wasnt needed. there is a max per loan and a max # of loans (all in the usergroup settings) which effectively put a cap on an overall amount. if they wanted to loan more in a given day, they should increase the max per loan. if you can think of a specific scenario where it would work better, convince me otherwise :)

in the instructions is a list of code changes that start with the name of the template, code to find, and code to apply at the find point (such as replace, add above, or add below)

in the acp go to style manager under styles and templates menu. you will have to work on all of the styles you have enabled. open and find the templates named in the instructions, search for the find code, and do what it says :D

I installed the mod but it ended up leaving a completely blank page for my forumhome. I removed it because it doesn't work for my 3.6.9. I wonder why. I disabled the product but it still leaves a blank forum homepage so I had to remove it because I don't plan on keeping my site down for long.
