Isnt working properly for me either.

Are there admin options some where i need to edit or something?

edit: Nevermind, when using quick reply it doesnt automatically refresh to a automerged post. You have to refresh the page manually to see changes

@Ntfu: that's a problem with Ajax system,a nd was the only way to make it work with it right now...

@Fith: hmm, the plugin is installed here since we upgraded to 3.5 and never got a problem like this.
it may be another setting, or that the posts contain attachments, maybe another hack is interfering...

Is it right, that it doesnt work when the threadstarters posts right after his first a second posting?

Xenon 04-24-2006 11:09 AM

nope, it also merges into the first post, but you can prevent that with an easy condition, if you don't like it to be that way

It's only a problem with the later plugin version - works fine with the older (fixed) file edit version. ;)

Xenon 04-24-2006 04:49 PM

@pipin: i have tested it now again, and it works perfectly as i described....

Iceman62 04-25-2006 05:17 PM

This is a brilliant idea!! I just wish it would work with 3.5.4 . :(

Or does it?

Xenon 04-25-2006 07:14 PM

it does :)

as you can test hre in the testforum, it works perfectly ;)

Iceman62 04-25-2006 07:31 PM

Test forum? Sorry man, I'm brand new to vb. But would love to have this!! I've seen way to many "doubles" posted. I hate to see 4 in a row!! That's why I like the "merge post" feature they have now. I'm just skeptical when it comes to my own stuff. I'm not a coder. I have no idea what to do if "I" break somethin'. I'll give it a try and report back.
