Hi,

When I click on 'credits' on my profile it tries to go to:

http://mysite.com/forum/credits.php?do=banking

But I get a page not found error and I have followed the installation instructions pretty closely (there is a lot of modifications to templates lol). Any advice appreciated (I also set the days u should be registered to be able ot use this to 0 in 'banking option' as its a new vbulletin install) as I would really like this in our forum..

Thanks,

I didn't know that, so I'd assume that it doesn't have 100% compatibility with the TMS system, because I never used said system/mod with vB Credits.

Thanks for the help! I went to his site and found the solution to the problem.

Got a problem that I just noticed. When displaying the credits in the member list, it shows in that person's field, but not at the top, putting everything else askew.

vB3.7.2 changed some of the target code for the memberlist template, messing up that edit done by TMS. See this bug report for the new find/add code:

is this alot different then vBexperience? can I use both?

(installation looks scary)

I'm pretty sure you could use both together. While vBExperience has more addon options right now, they arent as in-depth as the ones for vBCredits. Also, I wouldn't say installation is so bad - the actual steps are not beyond what you would do for most other hacks. Much of the reason it seems like a lot is that I explain EVERYTHING, to minimize absolutely anything that could go wrong. The result? much less repetitive installation support questions :p something thats been a godsend when you have hundreds of people installing it.

In any case, if you need help I am happy to assist you, here, at vbcredits.com or in a PM.

Did you upload credits.php to your forum root?

Thank you sir! I went to your site earlier and found the solution you posted. Works like a charm now. The only problem I have and have never been able to get this feature to work is when a member is promoted to another user group (After 5 posts they go to a different user group) I can't get it to automatically give them their $2,000 credits.

is there any change at all? check to make sure the Induction credit is unchecked as an applicable negation award in the global award settings for vbcredits.

Ok, I'll try that. Let you know when a member goes up to that promotion. Thank you!

i have another question

i set it so i get 1 credit per post - and i am the admin - i quadruple checked the new post credit field and it is set to 1 - but i get 3 credits for each post. same with the thread credit, it is multiplied by 3 - so instead of getting 3 for opening a new thread, i get 9.

other regular users get 1 credit, some staff gets 2 credits per post and it is all set to 1 - so I am a bit confused on why that's happening

Thanks Darkwalkt for your help. Copied over credits.php n it works! :)
The only problem now is how I ca get an award system n place where it shows up on their profile? Or ideally how to configure this with Vbookie...seems quite complicated?

make sure you are not using any auxillary earning features from any addons you may be using, like casino or vbookie.

i have an integration plugin for vbookie available at vbcredits.com, you pretty much just import it and youre done. can you be more specific by what you mean by award system?
