Good point, however, a well written welcome message can help that brand new users find a place to make their first post. Perhaps I'll make this into an admin option.

Incredibly easy. Thanks so much :D

Great module. I have one problem. I am using this with vBadvanced and am having trouble with the "contact us" link on the home page of my site. If I click on the "contact us" link in the header from within the forums, link works fine. However, if I click on the "contact us" link on the home page, I get an "error 404: URL not found" message. I am sure this is an easy fix :) but I can't seem to wrap my arms around it.

Yikes - I just checked and the "register" link doesn't work from the home page either :(

Ted,
I just went to your suba site to see this in realtime action.. I must say that the one screenshot on here really doesn't do this Hack justice.

Great work!!!

It's not my site but thanks for the comments!

My only problem with this mod is that it creates a large space between everything weather it is there or not.

I trued removing the <br /> in the templates, but it's still creating the large space as if it's there.

I also have http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8 installed and this is just looking too ugly. can someone help me with this?

Near the end of the navbar template there is a <br /> tag, remove that and you'll remove the space.

As far as the other hack from vbulletin-faqs, you'll need to ask them.

Still not working. Here are my templates.
Help would be greatly appreciated

I don't see any space between the welcome headers and your ads so I'm not certain what you're trying to change in regards to this plugin?

If you want to remove space for your other addon, well, you'd need to ask that author for assistance.

What is the proper code to use tables?

For example:

I created my guest message with about 30 lines of text. I want the bottom portion to be 2 columns, which of course requires 2 rows as well, only the 2nd row has 2 columns. What is the proper vbulletin compatible code for this?
