@ NIX

I am waiting for this huge bug fix for more than two months now....

This is a major issue and you keep avoiding it.

I cant play my own local .wmv files, the external work fine but the internal not.
You said in your previous reply that you will adjust it in the next release

hope to get a reply now

thanks

Sorry. Have to feed the family first. What was the problem? I've been out of town for a couple of months and will be home next week.

Bug report:

In bbcode_create.php, shouldn't
Code:

                                        if ($parser->is_wysiwyg())
                                        {
                                                return sprintf(
                                                        '[%1$s%2$s]%3$s[/%1$s]',
                                                        $parser->registry->options['gb_tag'],
                                                        $options ? ""$options"" : '',
                                                        $text
                                                );
                                        }

actually look like

Code:

                                        if ($parser->is_wysiwyg())
                                        {
                                                return sprintf(
                                                        '[%1$s%2$s]%3$s[/%1$s]',
                                                        $parser->registry->options['gb_tag'],
                                                        $options ? "="$options"" : '',
                                                        $text
                                                );
                                        }

?

I've added a = on line 6.

Also, the mp3 profile in the classic template is just completely... wrong. :P

Ali's 03-10-2008 12:29 PM

Peter85 03-10-2008 02:03 PM

Ali's: Its been said a million times already in this thread. Last time was just a couple of posts back.
You need php5 to use this. Tell your host to upgrade and it will work.

Any idea?

droid101 03-16-2008 11:14 PM

Okay... so I see the link to add a profile video... but where do you view your own and other people's? It's not showing up anywhere when you view their profile. Am I missing something?

masterwebguy 03-17-2008 06:48 PM

Could someone help me out on how to make this work for "LEETTUBE.COM" videos?

It works on google, youtube etc. I run a gaming forum and we'd like to include their videos!

Any responses welcome :( I tried to figure out what it was calling on the pages, it seems very similar to youtube.com

ADomoWorld 03-18-2008 12:06 AM

oBEAVISo 03-28-2008 07:02 AM

hi guys ,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out ..

When posting URL's of a vid on site it comes up like the lad above mentioned ..Thumbnail etc ..
all is ok with some vids but for some reason the game trailers one wont work. I have not really tested other ones due to the fact we only mainly deal with a certain few sites really

e.g. if i post

http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=7d8NcRI4DHM <----- works fine and as it should

if i post

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/32309.html <----- nothing appears apart from link

I have also noticed if i edit the post where a video is posted the video wont show again.

any help would be great

Thankyou

rd3500 03-29-2008 09:16 PM

I installed this wonderful mod but the player comes up, I click play and then nothing happens. It appears it is not loading the video.

I left it there for several minutes but nothing. I know the video works because I watch it on wordpress with a plugin that uses the same player you use.

I checked the file names and path and everything is fine.

The window comes up, I have to click play twice and then I see only a black screen and it does not load. It is a flash video, hosted on my server.

Any ideas? Thanks for the mod by the way...

I've fixed a lot of bugs and will be release a new version here soon. I've just been busy with paid work.

rd3500 04-03-2008 06:21 AM

I fixed the problem, I was missing http:// from the URL and it would not load (although it would recognize it as a media file).

thanks for the GREAT add on

Does this player plays wmv and avi attachments?

nix 04-07-2008 06:16 AM

Yes it can. You have to add the extension to the allowed in vbulletin though.
