Got this running ok on 3.8.5

Does anybody know how to make it compulsory for a member to add an image when they list an auction?

Having a problem with all items appearing in all categories. When I click on any one of the categories it shows all items that have been listed in all other categories as well.

I seek for version 4.0 , that exist for the 4.0?

Any tips on how to get this running on 3.8.5?

I had it running ok'ish, but it wasn't working 100%, I eventually ended up uninstalling it. :( I would be willing to donate $50 to anybody that can make a fully functioning auction mod for vb 3.8, actually I think I'll post that in the requests section.:)

i just installed both a 3.8 and a 4.1 on my server, going to get the new version of vbay running on the 3.8 but i have no idea how to code for 4.1 eric if you would like to help out on that it would be greatly appreciated

also id like to note, i lost the database files from when i made the new version... shouldnt be to hard to get it remade though.

i think ive gotten a bit in over my head adding features. its going pretty slow but hey, im making progress!

No added features needed, just basic Auction functionality with bidding and buy it now options will be perfect, well for me at least. :p :up::up::up:

If I may offer my suggestions or wish list ;)

Option to make Location a compulsory field
Option to make adding images compulsory
Option to have all new listings appear under New Posts, dunno if this will be possible though.
Option to allow questions on the item advertised

Hey Blaine, I know you have a real life to tend to as well, so just wondering what your estimated time of completion for 3.8 will be. Not trying to rush you, just trying to form a game plane for my site.

I have one question i could not find an answer to, (so many pages)

When i create the usergroup "Sellers" and approve the "Sellers" usergroup to post auctions

it still wont let that group sell, it says "Sorry, you need to be a seller to be able to sell anything! Click HERE to request a sellers account. Thank you." but i have already put my "test" account in the usergroup.........

I have vBulletin 3.8

and VBay 1.1.9

*EDIT* where it says "Usergroups allowed to post auctions. seperate by commas, IE (4,5,2,7)" i just type in the name of the usergroup right?

Fixed, it needed to be numbers not the title "Sellers usergroup" LOL

Having issues uploading pictures, any quick fix? Or is this a big problem

**EDIT** Ok so pics have to be very small size to upload, this will be tough for public sellers not knowing how to downsize
and when i deleted some auctions, the auction number to show how many auctions there were goes into the negative, this is a problem because in one category it has -3, now there has to be 3 auctions added to go back to 0.

nope you need to put the usergroup ID
you can see that by clicking on the usergroups page in the admincp

1) Few suggestions, allow for larger pic uploads

2) When the pic is clicked, it shouldn't take up the whole screen

3) When a auctions is deleted it goes into the negative (-3)

1. Next version will use the vbulletin attachment system, so you can define picture sizes via the admincp.
2. It will also use vbulletins picture viewing system, so it will pop up on the screen or use lightbox if your vbulletin has it.

Sorry about #3, what i mean is if a user goes to "category section" there is a "-3" under how many auctions are available under that category.

Example:

Name -------------- items

Toys & Hobbies ---- -3

This occurred when i deleted some auctions from this category.
