You need to edit the template facebook_footer.
Find the line: Code:
e.src = document.location.protocol + '//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js'; |
Thank you.
There was a variable instead of en_US, but replacing it with it_IT worked. I will consider for sure to buy the Gold version :) |
Hi,
I have just upgraded to VBulletin 4.1.7 and this mod has stopped displaying the Facebook like button. See example thread on my forum at: http://www.settledin.com.au/forum/sh...ia?p=51#post51 It still displays the Google+1 button fine. Has Facebook changed things? Has VB broken things? Thanks, Dale. http://www.settledin.com.au/forum/ |
Neither should have happened. I have this mod running fine on 4.1.7 myself:
http://www.qapla.com/mods/showthread...e-amp-Font-Mod I looked at your link, I viewed source of the page- the code for the Facebook Like AND Facebook Send buttons are there, however none of the vBulletin Facebook code is present- Please make sure you have the Facebook Platform enabled in your Admin CP -> settings -> options -> Facebook Options. |
Hi,
I checked the Facebook settings and it was enabled. Up until now I haven't used a Facebook ap - didn't understand the whole process. However have now created a Facebook ap and entered the details and the Facebook button is working again. Thanks for the help - Facebook must have changed things. Hey BirdOPrey5, have you had any submit the following bug?
When I click on the "Twitter" link the url is partially changed for some reason (it removes /forums, which totally f's it up). In other words, every time I use the share on twitter link, I have to add in /forums into the url in the correct spot for it to work. Any idea why it would change the correct url? You can test anytime at Political Jack |
1. Please "Mark as Installed."
2. In your Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details What is your Forum URL set to? It should be: Code:
http://www.politicaljack.com/forums |

Yes it is set to that, but we recently made the base url redirect to http://www.politicaljack.com/forums/index.php. This could have something to do with the problem. I'll let you know. |
