Does this mod supports friendly urls for "downloads" files?

That would be dependant on your SEO mod, there's no built in SEO support at this time.

tried reinstalling. but did not help. i'll try to uninstall and check for and delete all remaining files. than install again.

0 byte files in your FTP means your FTP user does not have write permissions. Please contact your systems administrator to get this issue solved :)

i thought that also. but that's not the case now.

everyone with right permissions can upload files to server using vBDownloads. when i connect to the folder( i've specified in the vBD settings) over the cpanel, all files are there, with normal sizes and downloadable. only when i'm using vbdownloads i'm getting zer size download.

Ah, I was under the impression the php files included with this mod were 0 bytes on your server.

If it's the downloads, that's most likely a case of read permissions being incorrect. Can you double-check those too?

I am on Downloads II right now debating whether or not i want to switch over to vBDownloads. Only thing stopping me is 2 questions
1. Is there a way where when you put an image in the description box that it automatically puts it as the thumbnail for the upload?
2. Is there a way to incorporate a thanks button in the download? Not necessarily having to thank to get the download, just for the people who want to leave thanks for being able to download the file.

1. The first image you upload will be used as the thumbnail. Ticking the "Screenshot" box gives priority over a loose image. In a future version, we'll add an explicit thumbnail checkbox that'll be used to select a specific image as thumbnail.

2. There's a Rating system in the Pro version that lets people +1 or -1 the download :)

Same problem for me too. Rights of the files are set to test 777 times but no success.
