Is this gallery support import images feature from ftp?

Not the LITE - only PRO version

So now that PhotoPlog seems all but dead for v4, I'm considering any photo gallery that has a migration scripts for PhotoPlog. Has anyone else successfully migrated to UMG from PhotoPlog? How is UMG working out for you?

I've got some concerns about UMG as it has been slow to gather a userbase. I worry that I'm about to turn into a dead end with a huge truck and it's going to be hard to turn around. :o

Coroner - Can you provide any reassurance on the future of UMG? What does the development roadmap look like? How committed are you to the product?

I'm very close to buying a pro license... any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe support for this has pretty much ceased.

Added a few videos via the manager, but when I looked at it, it was just a thumbnail image, is there anyway to have it videos when I upload them, not just thumbnail

No chance. I've tried to install ffmpeg, but it's too "confused" for me.

How come when I upload a video, and then go to the gallery and click on it, a icon shows up instead of a video, and yes video's are allowed.

Is this similar to a tube script for vbulletin? Because if so - this is exactly what I'm looking for

The MAIN aspect I like about VDR is that it gives credit to those that upload videos and gives them there own User Page to promote them!

By credit I mean gives them points for each video they do... I then want to be able to I think use a HOOK to work it into XPerience another great vB plugin/Mod that gives users points for all that they do in the forum! This is a critical aspect of our site as we give away FREE loot from M-afia Wars Loot for the game. This has a good value so there will be a lot of participation! Also that it is layed out on the page with TOP video, Most rated etc...

But they do not have anything like you do for back end...

I am not sure but I think my option is to either...

A. Buy your Pro version and deal with the layout... (Or is there a way to re-theme it?)
B. Go with Video Directory Remixed and have to upload to Youtube or similar site and just paste the URL there...

Benefit to A:

All the work is protected on my site and you use the best Player in the business... JW Player... (Can we with the PRO version use all the add-ons that JW Player offers?)
Plus many many other Engine type benefits...

Benefit to B:
Graphically more pleasing (But NO engine to work with...)

Any thoughts or recomendations?
