You had helped me with an issue I was having before.
Now, I have upgraded with the new version.
I have 2 questions or issues I wonder if you can help me straiten out.
I had reinstalled it since you had worked on it last, and now im having issues again.
1. When I try to play an mpg file, it does not work. It just sits there with no play button. I Have tried switching back in forth btween windows player and flash player in acp, but does not make a difference.
2. Sometimes on some file uploads, the player will be there, but when you push on the "play" button, nothing happens at all. The button just goes back to where it was, like it was not pushed. Sometimes the wmv files work, sometimes they do not. Seems like if the wmv file is a long video, the player will not play it.
I need to be able to play BOTH wmv and mpg. Can you comment on what I need to do?
The permissions on all the groups seem to be ok.

I think I know what the problem is, I tested this with another AVI and it worked perfectly. My AVI was too large... even after some compression it was something like 34 MB in size. The other AVI was like 8 MB in size. Going to try and compress my AVI more then I will try again.

Just another question, I will be using vBadvanced, and wondered if there is a way of getting the movie to show up on the vBa page? I checked on http://www.vbadvanced.com and there doesn't seem to be anything on there. I only found this http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14076 but it was related to videos in general, not to this extension. It would be cool if someone could write a module or something for vBa and AnyMedia.

anything else I need to do to update my stuff, from last week's to yesterdays update, besides importing and overwriting the anymedia_product.eml file?

not sure about your .mpg file but i would say that you dont have the codec's installed on your computer for the video's that fail to play.. some people encode the video into formats that may not have the codec installed in your machine.. its like putting a square peg in a round hole.. it wont work

It was playing mpg untill i changed something..like a tag that was /ANYMEDIA
or something of the sort. I changed something, but crist had it working for me and it would play anything on my site without a problem. Not any more.

Download the zip file again and re-import the xml,
will fix this prob.
