Level as costfield would not make any sense. Use the xperience points instead.

You will need to modify one of the level XML to adjust the points needed for level up.

One more question. If somebody exchange his points in the Shop, will I get as an Administrator a notification when this happens?

Yes and yes (if the points he redeemed are enough to be downgraded).

do you think it is a good idea to downgrade peopel? Whats the use of the Level System then?

He exchanges his points for an item in the shop, so he get's a countervalue for that. Still, you can offer items for only f.e. 1 post points.
If you don't like the idea, disable the shop.

I totally agree here. It's a great mod....and people obviously love it, but I think it would be a lot better if the person cashes in their points for items but retains their level (that they are pretty proud of). Can you please consider making this change? Thanks.

I have a problem. I have installed the hack successfully and everything is showing up and such. But no members are leveling up. They are just stuck at 99% and it says 0 exp needed to lvl up. Any ideas why this is happening/What to do to fix it?

I will do this as an option.

To get support, you will need to click "Mark as Installed".

For sure you have either a wrong level XML or no level XML installed.

It seems to be working fine...you can see that...www.weusecoupons.com/upload but i still do NOT have the vbexperience in my admincp. I uninstalled as per instructions in readme and I lost all my Usergroup permissions for all users , resulting in locking me out from admin cp as the admin. Luckily I remember the main admin password otherwise I would have been stuffed..

It is hard-coded into the template. Look for template "xperience_shop" and make the changes here.
Should be fixed in next version according to Phalynx.

Phalynx, I uploaded all the files again just to be sure. I am using 3.7.2, and am uploading the files with SmartFTP. The only files that were not uploaded were in the languages and extras folder. Everything else is in the correct location and I still do not have the vbexperience in my admincp. Thanks for your help!
