Great hack - not sure why I waited so long to install it ;).

Apologies if this has been addressed before - I have searched the thread and couldn't find anything about it.

I have modified one of the plugin files in my install to show the signature in the PM. Add this code to your choice of plugin file (there are 3 plugin files, as explained here):

PHP Code:

$pmdm->set('showsignature'1);

Hope this helps someone. If this option could be added to the Admin CP it would be great :cool:.

Hmm ... what do you expect me to check if it works fine for me and approx. 900 other users?
As previously suggested, change ERRTYPE_SILENT to ERRTYPE_STANDARD to see any errors that might occur.

Now i know my mistake, forget run rebuild all plugins at hacks : Plugin Accelerator (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=107315) :)
So you can add FAQ about that ;)

Andreas 03-23-2006 12:40 PM

D0h! I won't add this to the FAQ as I would have to add it to all Hacks ...
Trigunflame really needs to make this fool-proof, eg. rebuild automatically when Plugins are modified.

LeonHartHVA 03-23-2006 01:18 PM

From when I add that hack, I think new hacks conflict with old hacks but cannot find reason. So it's important for who forgot run rebuild all plugins like me :)

I have a slight quirk with this excellent hack.

I have just had someone make a thread which was full of swear words, I deleted it but I can't warn them because "the post doesn't exist".

Is there a non-post related way of warning them? For example, if you had a chat feature installed and you wanted to warn them about something that happened there, you wouldn't be able to use it but might still want to warn them.
