It does work with 4.2.2 pl2 because I am using it on my site. As usual, there is no manual and very limited documentary support. I note it has been since November 8th that supertemplado has been seeking assistance. You might want to try on their web site, and see if you can get any of these gentlemen to help you out.
Best of luck. Nelson |
Nelson, I just answered him,as well a kdoubt.
Yes it does work on 4.2.2 pl2, what is the specific problem you are having? |
ozzy47, you are a good soul for doing so.
In general, one of the things that I learned playing with this mod is that, to have a menu in a tab, you have to create an item under a tab, define it as a menu, and then link the selections to it. So, on our site for example, under Forum, I defined a menu item as Forum selections. That doesn't show, but the links you define with that as a parent will show, and lead you to each function that you define. I have not found a way to use sub-menus at the same time, or to create an item in a menu that can have its own menu. I do not think the latter is possible. Without a manual or documentation, you have to play around with this quite a lot until you get what you are looking for. I must have played with it for days until I got it. I am still not totally satisfied, but it does the job. |
Well the way you describet to make a menu tab is controlled by vBulletin, not the mod.
As far as a item in a menu having it's own menu, this is not possible at this time. How besides a lack of documentation are you unsatisfied, the mod does exactly as described in the OP, nothing more, nothing less. :) |

I'd like the menus to have their own menus. Why? Because when you install a mod, many set up options in the navbar. When you transfer that to the menu you set up, you lose the ability to have those options, at least as far as I see (maybe I am missing something). So, for example, if you install Ozz' Classifieds, there are many options, which is great, but you want to maintain those on the menu if possible. When you make a menu with a link, you cannot offer the options. They get lost. Or am I just not doing it right? |

Yes it would be nice to have menus inside of menus, but this is not available in the mod at this time, and I am pretty sure it has been requested before, but it don't hurt to put in a feature request on their site to be sure. |
For some reason it won't allow unregistered people to view the new tab's page. It asks them to log in. How do I fix this? I've tried leaving all of the boxes unchecked, and trying checking all of the boxes for user permissions for the tab. Neither works. :/ Any ideas? Thanks!
(Using vB 4.2.2) Edit: Apparently not even regular users access it, as I was told by my users they can't. So only admins can? I have looked high and low in the settings and can't find the reason for this. Also it got rid of my sub navigation bar all together? |

Just wondering if anyone has this working with the Pristine style from themeforest?
