I installed this after upgrading to 4.2.0 (first, uninstalled all previous plugins).
So, I had to import the whoread table from my old database via phpmyadmin (I emptied the new db whoread tables frist). It imported 23MB. However, no difference shows on all threads, especially sticky threads that have thousands of views. What did I miss to update the stats? Thanks |
Hey Paul, would appreciate your help my friend :)

The old modification whoread table is not used by the core WRT code in 4.2, it uses its own table(s).

Not seeing it in 4.2, and gave turned it on at: Settings > Options > Thread Display Options

contentread but everything is different is all the old data un-useable? please let me know.. |
So if I am reading this correctly @Paul M, once I update my site to 4.2, I will lose the features you list in black, until you release an update? This means all usergroups will be able to see the list of who read? Currently I only let my staff see it, and we use it along with your member tracking mod for tracking purposes and to see where people go in the site. It's too bad some of the best features of your mods are missing in the core move to vb4.2

some of the things in black are in 4.2 core, but the one that is most important to what staff does on my site, specifically number 9 (9. Clicking on a user will display a page of their thread viewing history, most recent first.) does not seem to be available in 4.2. to get around it, i disabled the vb 4.2 built in one and re-enabled your 4111 version. it seems to be working just fine |
