So far all is working fine. Except one little issue....

The Link in the Navbar is showing up in Forum and i got it running as well in VBA Portal.

But when i click in Navbar on my ibproarcade, then the Link disapears in the Navbar. Everywhere else it shows up, except in Arcade.

Does someone know how to get this fixed?

I'm liking the look of this plugin, but have a few questions. :)

1. Does a reminder appear at the top of the forum when renewal time is approaching? Or does it send an email reminder? Or neither?

2. Does it auto-renew, or does the donator have to manually renew each time?

3. Can I offer two currency options, so people from the USA can pay in dollars and Brits can pay in pounds?

4. Do I - as Admin - have to manually confirm each donation, or can it be automated?

5. After expiry of their membership period, will the person automatically revert back to the previous usergroup or do they stay in the same usergroup as during the donation period?

If someone could help out with these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Those are good questions. I'd like to know as well. Hopefully the developer will answer.

As I have been using this for some time, let me give a few answers:

1. It uses the Paid Subscription system which sends out a reminder via email

2. Does not auto-renew. Use the Paid Subscription system directly for that.

3. Only works with one currency. You can choose which upon setup.

4. Yes, you have to confirm each payment manually. This automatically increments the donation bar and sends a thank-you pm to the donator. Use the Paid Subscription system for automated activation, but that does not maintain the donation bar.

5. The system adds the user to another usergroup. At the end of the subscription, that usergroup is automatically removed again.

I hope this helps. I have earned several thousands through the use of this hack for donations. Well worth installing.

Hi there, How do we add <NOINDEX> tags to the donation description text? I have it displayed on every page and don't want it to affect search results.

Installed 3.8.7pl3.

Works well enough to keep installed as long as I don't enable the DonBar.

There is a Donate Now link in the DonBar that does not redirect. It just whacks out the sites css and take you no where.

UPDATE: Had an incorrect Forum and HomePage URL in the AdminCP. Updated the URL and edited my already heavily moded Header template to the reflect the same AdminCP link.

Problem fixed. Works perfectly!
