"Norway: Netcom" does't work anymore.

They have stopped the service @sms.netcom.no

So, where do we go from there?

I had this same problem with my T-mobile. The way that i got it sorted out was that I called T-mobile and they enabled this service for me so you may need to contact your provider and am sure they will be able to help.
