When you are uploading the .xml, are you selecting override "yes"?

If you are just wanting to change this
Quote:

[Enter your timeslip data by editing your profile in User CP ]
Just go to your admincp, style and templates, and open up your site's main style << >>.......Then scroll down and look for template named "timeslips".....and open it.

Scroll down toward's the bottom of the page and locate this: $timeslipsbit and then replace the code below it with this:
PHP Code:

<tr>
    <
td class="tfoot" colspan="10">
<!--
please don't remove this -->
<font size="1"><center>[vBTimeslipDatabasev2.0 by <b><a href=http://modernmusclecars.net>EvilLS1</a></b>.Converted to vb3.5 by <b><a href="mailto:deathemperor@gmail.com">deathemperor</a></b>]</center></font>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</table>
<font size="1"><a href="profile.php?$session[sessionurl]&do=edittimeslip">$vbphrase[timeslips_submit]</a></font>
</td></tr></table>
<br />$pagenav
$footer
</body>
</html>

and then save it. Now when you go back to your site, you should see: " Submit your timeslip data" instead of "Enter your timeslip data by editing your profile in User CP"

I think that's what you are wanting to do anyways from looking at your timeslips page.

Thanks for you help
I tried over writing it - no change

Most of the code you posted was commented out

I added it back - it does the same as it used to it opens a plank page...

the hack I did to open peoples profile page at least lets them edit the content - its not pretty but it worked

Hi everyone,

I've upgraded this hack for vb3.6.4 but currently it only supports new installations. I will have to set up the old one, then starting coding the upgrade. I will release both type when I finish it but if you guys want the new one first I will release it first.

Thanks for all of the interests, I was kind of lazy.

mustang02 12-04-2006 07:28 PM

I have it working on 3.6.4 following hotwheel's installation instructions. I skipped the steps to add the tables as I already had them from my 3.6.0 upgrade. I then edited all php files.

well I can't wait too. I've just got a new job and is kind of busy, I work 9 hours a day. This is what I've done. Although tested in my localhost for new installation and upgrade, please report if you guys found any problems and I will fix it when I get home.

This works with 3.6.3 on my localhost, I beleive it work for 3.6.4 too.

First post edited a bit, I'll be sending update emails for installed users.
