No, the ibulletin images directory should remain intact, run/install the upgrade (3.5.1) will pick up from where it left off, check the vbulletin upgrade instructions for more info on this.

What concerns me is the 'postbit' template, this shows up in the 'red' color, which means that I customized it. If so, I guess I need to compare it with the original one, see what I did and then 'redo' the change after the upgrade?

You can revert the templates to the default if you wish, this will not harm the i-bulletin style, only a few <br /> tags will be removed and should look & function just the same

There are some good tuts out there on html, i think it's a simple tag, but thats not for me to solve as it's your own personal custom header...google is your friend! :)

Scrollbar is altered via the extra css definitions, look for the ".HTML {}" you'll see the codes, just a matter of altering the hex for your own colours!

Some commands behave differently in each browser, not all but some.

ok great looking skin just what I'm looking for.
I've installed and solved my initial problems caused by me being daft.

Now however after I moderate the post I have noticed that the 'moderated' icon is missing from the rest of the page.

It says it is looking for it here : http://www.mydomain.com/forums/image.../moderated.gif

however no such file exists.

also http://www.mydomain.com/forums/image...ated_small.gif
appears to be missing also
all help appreciated

Chris

thanks it now works, but I've just found a new error

see attached pic.

internet explorer says 'done, but with errors on page' at the bottom of the screen. I've taken a screenshot of the detailed error description.

i don't have any errors on that page, using 3.5.1 iB (plain) running IE - inlinemod is a css element (i think) which should have been loaded...not sure though, anyways, i cannot reproduce the error...

Looks like : clientscript/vbulletin_inlinemod.js (not being loaded) nothing to do with my skin i dont think...

Great skin! I utilize her in my site, with vBulletin 3.5.1

Working in progress...

Lammypie 11-10-2005 10:52 AM

thanks b6

I think (yeah I know) that I've found another small gif missing.

http://www.mydomain.com/forums/image...c/noavatar.gif

I've replaced it with the noavatar.gif which comes with Vbulletin 3.5.1 and on the standard i-bulletin style that seems to work.

Just thought I'd let you know.

getting paranoid? - there is no such graphic named 'noavatar.gif' this is part of a hack not the default vb package, not my problem.

Nice work on a great skin, I love it! :)

Colejo 11-12-2005 08:27 PM

These are really nice. Thanks. Do you take requests for additional buttons? If so I need a fork button, thank you button, and mult-quote with this post button. If not that's ok. These still look great. :)

Great skin, good job!

BiReL41r 12-02-2005 02:46 AM

These skins are great, have all four colors on my forums. Good job, keep it up!

shush 12-03-2005 09:14 AM

Dumb question from a newbie, but here goes.
How do I make your skin my forum style, so that when people first enter my forum it is not on my old skin style. Does that make sense..sorry if not.
Oh I am very new to this, I have no idea where to find the simplist thing like html folder. I have only altered one template at this stage....Help a newbie please.

Oh love the colors, my eyes also thankyou very much.

shush 12-03-2005 10:50 AM

Not to worry, I figured it out. Now all my members can enjoy your style, they have no other choice.

Thanks for the great color....now runs off to find out how to change icons to suit forum.

stroke25 12-03-2005 11:03 PM

i have this on 2 sites and whenever you use the navbar log in the "remember me" checkmark seems to not work or something because i always get logged out. Anybody else notice this?

shush 12-07-2005 07:18 PM

No haven't had that problem, but I have found the reputation system is not working.

in which postbit? legacy or normal?
also for those with cookie problems if if you don't check the 'remember me?' box then you may have problems, just clear the cookie for the site and it'll work

shush 12-08-2005 06:35 PM

you cannot give any reputation, soon as you click on it you get taken to the top of the screen.

-b6

shush 12-08-2005 08:06 PM

maybe it is the forum then, but it works fine on the vbulletin default style, but when you click on that little cross on the other colors it just takes you to the top of the screen.
