v3arcade was dead for a long time, so no need to promote any other alternative to the upcoming ibProArcade here !

You might want to note that that is the yearly fee, not a one time fee as was originally thought by many.

This is heavy - 60$ is far too much for an Arcade-Hack, I guess John just waited for a chance that there is no use of his old v3arcade-Hack, and this chance came up with vBulletin 3.5.0
He might have thought to have the only Arcade-Hack then so most users had no chance to avoid buying/licensing his new Arcade-Hack, that's the reason for that high price...

But be sure - i a few days after releasing the new ibProArcade he surely has to fight for each customer and give god reasons for paying 60$ while this (better?) ibProArcade is for free ;)


Of course everybody should feel free to make his own decision which is the right Arcade-Hack for your personal interests, just make sure to give the new ibProArcade the chance it deserves :)

As much as I agree $60 is just plain ridicules for a arcade hack you must put it in perspective, the v3arcade hack is free, the $60 is for anyone wanting their arcade branding free and getting early betas of versions and of course more pesonalised support.

BTW I will be using this arcade as I think it will be a superiour product. ;)

I have to say, I'm awaiting the release of MrZeropage's release and trust there will be an upgrade for users of ibProArcade v2.5.1 which has been working fine for me since 3.5.0 RC1

I think this hack will be better than the v3arcade as you will be able to use ibp pro games v3arcade games and the pnfg's games.
With the option of having all these games make's this the better arcade as there will be over 4000 to 5000 games avalible where as avarcade can only use the v3arcade games.
I do like the new look of the v3arcade but i also think the look for this arcade is very nice too.
So for me i will be installing this arcade as i have alot of pnfg's games.
I also make games for pnfg's and you can also buy multiplayer games from pnfg's.
Witch makes this the better arcade in the whole.

Just happen to be the No:1 Beta Tester In Ireland.....Hmmm

So Can....................

I just started spreading the "ibProArcade RC1" a few minutes ago to some Testers, but in the first step only to german Testers at www.vbhacks-germany.com
The reason is that I need to do the english install-instructions and the left menu in the AdminCP for the ibProArcade is still german while everything else is "multi-language" (you can choose in the Arcade-Settings which languagefile should be used, english or german).

Wait some more, right after finishing all language-things I will also provide a testversion to some english Testers here at vbulletin.org !


I think after getting first reactions about the RC1 I could have a slight vision of the release-date, but be sure it's not that far away :)

are you going to update the version (fix the german bugs reported) before releasing the english version?

I would be more than happy to help testing the eng version to update my dev install which currently has the old IBPro installed in vb 3.50 stable, it wont get hammered by users once installed as my dev install is at home, but my kids will play it some in between their new craze of gunzonline, and I will be around aswell looking at it as a serious contender to v3arcade which is what is currently installed on my live site. One thing it cannot do is break anything serious as its purely my dev install for testing stuff such as this, so a quick db restore is very easy and wont affect me in the slightest.
Of course I will also be following v3arcade new ver quite closely, I cannot place any guarantee on which will make it into the live site, all I know is both arcades are pretty damn impressive :)

if you want i'll be very happy to test it on my board ;)

I had ibpro up running on my site with lots of games installed, then lost it when vb went gold. have now tried the new v3arcade, but it is not the same. Can't wait to get the old favorite back where it belongs.

Gladly be a english tester on a live board.

Also, when this does come back.. based on the sql I had given you. would I be able to get my scores and settings to return once I get this installed?

Will check this out after releasing the next test-version coming (I think) tomorrow.
This one then is fully multilingual and will be available in english, too - I will start a separate request for some beta-testers then, so please resist to PM me tight now ;)

it's been a while!

Tried v3arcade, not happy with it at all even in its beta stage, I really want to replace it by going back to IBPpro, what time period are we looking at for English version release? Sorry for pestering but I may proceed with restoring the old version of ibproarcade for 3.5.0. and then upgrade to your new version when its out.

can u give me a little more detail? i'de wanna know the diff between both....im with ibproarcade
