I finally upgraded to 3.5 today and got the steel skins installed and I love them! But can someone help me get it to where my columns all line up?

I had the steel skin installed on the old version too and had the same problem, but managed to get them lined up eventually, but since the templates are so different in this new version, I'm not having any luck this time. I especially don't like how the top table under the nav bar is squished on the right side. If you look at my forum home, I think you'll see what I mean.

Obviously, I've changed it a bit to reflect Halloween, but that's just images and css.

If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it! :)

edited to add...I've already tried the column width percentage changes recommended on vb.com and it doesn't seem to affect things hardly at all...

How many queries do the plugins add?

In the 3.0.X version of this skin you had a new post sign at the top... is it possible to insert it in this skin too? It was seeable under the private messages sign and showed between brackets how many new posts there were

Oh yea the Background image he used messes it up so if you just remove the background image on:

Panel (Forms)

Here you see this style in 3.0.8 and in 3.5.0 --> watch the upperright corner

Change to the default template and confirm that the boxes are visible there. They shouldnt vanish for no apparent reason on this style.

Where is this php_include_start template? I've looked everywhere for it...

The boxes are visible in the default style. But It seems that the column width of the last column (that with the check boxes) is less in the not working style than in the working styles. Is it possible that it is just to small to show those check boxes, and how to change it?

well, i upgraded to the new style from 3.5gold and it really didn't like working in legacy mode so I ended up reverting to the 3.5.0 version.

for wednesday might not be the best to have humpday. :) i know how to change it though. heh
