Instead of print_no_permission() say I wanted it to go to custom_error.html or something. |
@Zero Telerance
Could this be archieved: instead of a pop up, a link "Radio" in the vbulletin navbar, with a drop down showing the control panel with all the radio functions. Would be a great integration I think. |

To clarify the stations connect and play in FF but it is just the Player Controls buttons that do not funtion and I have removed the <!-- --> commenting out of all related templates, and everything works in IE, so I suppose it is how FF handles the Javascript, but am not that familiar with it to sort the problem out. If anyone can solve this, it would be great. Thanks in advance, jd :) |
Thank you for sharing your work! Your hacks are terrific.
|
Thanks it looks good. One other thing though. Is their anyway you can ''be your own Radio''. Like saying that meaning you can be on the air on an adress or w/e. Hard to explain?
|
Simply amazing.
/me click installed My member simply need it everyday. |
hey great hack! installed without problems, and im sure it will be very popular with the members on my site :)
one question though, when editing the templates how do i make it work with a button instead of clicking a text link? im using the tren_z sking from extreme pixels. I know how to make the button link to the radio but not sure how to add the java script so it opens in ist own window. many thanks :) |

Hey guys you can see my board at http://www.musicpowered.com/
Why is the link to the radio not working in IE ? Does work in FireFox. Thanks |
look like a javascript error. Did you past the whole part in the navbar ?
|
this truly is a great hack, but i'm having just a couple of minor problems.
The first is I'd like to make the title of the popup window show with the URL of my forum, just the forum title and vBRadio title. For some reason, no matter what I do to the Radio Template, I can't get rid of the URL preceding everything in the title of the popup. Can this be fixed? Also, for some reason, I can't play winamp streams. Anything from shoutcast just doesn't play. Is there a solution for this? Another bug - i can't launch a stream from Mozilla Firefox at all. Anyone else see this problem? Other than those two - this is by far the easiest mod I've ever installed, and definitely one of the coolest.... Thanks! |

It would be beneficial to use WMP streams as it's on 90 to 95 percent of the computers most used on the net. |

Ok, I'm having fun with .ra .ram type channels. I've tried and failed to get them working (I have the paid version of Real Audio on my computer). Any chance of a definitive answer as to whether they will work or not and if they will can someone explain in indiot format how to get them to work. Simply adding them doesn't seem to be doing the trick for me. Reason I ask is that I want to add BBC Radio 1 and they only seem to support Real Audio (unless osmeone can tell me otherwise) |
Detomah,
Thanks for the links! Very considerate of you to post them for all of us. But, I'm having trouble with the CNN tv link ... did you get this working? |
I'm testing yours out ZT WOW, this thing is freakin great!!
I'll install it once I get some free time, btw how how one start/made thier our station? thanks |
oh, I can't seem to get it to play in firefox :(

oldfan - try one of the ones off my list in firefox, I found that it still worked fine, but the display wouldn't show up, but you could still change channels and that was good enough for me. |
Bah duplicate post. >.<
|
Thanks for your reply ... still can't get cnn going, but about this link:
http://www.tvradionetwork.com/index.php I cannot figure out how to get the url feeds from there ... any pointers? Sorry for being such a pain! |

Have you done this yet and I missed it in this thread? It is gorgeous! |
Tremendous ZT. Your work and abilities never cease to amaze me. I have one question though; I just can't figure out how to hard code this, within your coding structure. My navigation bar goes through different parts of my site, ie, Photopost, and if you are NOT in the main vb forum, the link will not call to the WMP pop up box. I've tried different hard code changes in the navbar text, but cannot seem to make it work. Any ideas?
