Pues la soluci?n la he hecho, pero s?lo para los problemas de cotejamiento con la base de datos, al parecer el estimado daveaite ha probado su producto en una instalaci?n de vBulletin con la base de datos en UTF-8, pero con el idioma del foro en ISO-8859-1, vamos, un t?pico error de novato.

Sobre el rendimiento, sinceramente creo que el producto "funciona as?", cosa que es bastante desagradable, aunque podr?as configurar el tiempo entre consultas que ajax hace, ahora lo tengo a cada 120 segundos, y s?lo tengo el doble de uso de CPU en horas punta... ya ser?a cosa que el programador haga las modificaciones pertinentes para intentar atenuar el problema. Eso de que s?lo en los foros UTF-8 ocurre el "lag" es una soberana tonter?a, y m?s a?n cuando el propio programador usa su producto en una base de datos UTF-8, o sea, cae en contradicci?n.

Lo que me parece una guarrada al momento de comprar su producto no existian esas restricciones para UTF-8 o soporte de idiomas "raros", ya cuando le echo en cara ese detalle para que me haga la devoluci?n, reci?n publica las restricciones y me dice "ah? est?n", pff, una pasada.

Al parecer solo con seleccionar la opci?n de que tienes vbseo se corrige lo de acentos, o al menos as? ha pasado en mi caso. Lo de las notificaciones voy a aumentarle la cantidad de segundos como recomiendas.

Just added it to a forum and it worked for the first reply to an existing thread. But, we're attempting new threads and responses to them and nothing is displaying.

Is there an issue that we should look into or some 'FAQs' on this mod?

Also, when clicking on "Show All Notifications", the tab on the profiles is broken and not displaying correctly. The 'custom style' CSS is not displaying on the manual (http://forum-skins.com/plugins/forum...ations-manual/)

Ah, hadn't noticed the 2nd part of this post.

So, I downloaded the uploaded version and it shows as 1.0 and not 1.8....tried the install and still having the same issue. One notification shows as soon as the install happened (25 minutes ago) and nothing since. :(

I agree, it had a lot of promise but I don't use usergroup ID 2 for my main registered members and I can't change it as it's only a pro version. So uninstalled.

As you can see (on a previous post) this mod is not working as of now.

Installed & uninstalled. This is a useless hack do not waste your time unless you plan on buying their paid for version. There are only 2 settings allowed for you to change on this version. Just do not bother to download and waste your time to install.
