Yeah you can. Find either .cke_skin_kama or .cke_wrapper in your CSS templates. Also you can check your stylevars; should have them there as well under editor.

onlydesigned 06-16-2011 08:00 PM

Just removed this great mod.. Can't tolerate to have someones footer link, it doesn't look good at all! You should have a paid version or something else for those who want it without!

davidg 06-16-2011 09:31 PM

i did same
sorry marco i like your mod alot but i dont want the footer link

rasp187 06-17-2011 08:48 AM

Yeah that copyright is really an eyesore. If it was smaller it wouldn't be a big deal but to say "Forum Modifications" is a bit broad considering it's one plug-in. Oh well I'll wait to see what the next version holds before determining whether or not it's worth to keep for the footer copyright.

MARCO1 06-17-2011 11:00 AM

In the next new version I'll update the copyrights to be short and it maybe a paid version without a copyrights

Thank you Marco. Can't wait to see what it's in store next. Question; is there any way to use the Enhanced Interface editor (same editor there is available with this mod) when editing posts? I seem to have an issue with the standard editor while editing posts in a "Live Topic" thread (other mod we have; must have in our forum). Would be awesome to to be able to go to Enhanced Interface when editing, specially for bbcodes and stuff like that.

P.S..: I use this mod already but seem to get the standard editor when editing posts if I set my default editor in my usercp general setting to standard editor. Can I make it so everyone get the enhanced editor even if they have selected standard in their general settings?

EDIT: Ran a query to make everyone use Enhanced Editor Interface by default, this should help with the issue. As long as no one changes back to standard. GREAT MOD! NOMINATED!

Were you getting the problem of line breaks being removed from the edit posts? Like all the texts are squished together, when editing posts with live topic on.

Yeah exactly like that. When would post for example this:

This is one line.

This is another line.

When I would try to edit it and save it , it would return saved as:

This is one line.This is another line.

This happens having the standard editor as your default editor via usercp and live topic ON. It's one of the Live Topic Plug ins causing the issue, I disabled a couple and the edit and saved worked and the format of the text remained. Turned them back on and the save was all in one line.

Solution I implemented was just to run a query and have all the members use the Enhanced editor as default as well as new members until I find a solution for people wanting the standard editor.

Hi mate,

Could you add Custom BB codes in QR and QE too?

Thx!

P.S.

I did it myself but you could add it too.

PHP Code:

$this->addCustomToolbarButtons();

P.P.S

You could think of adding attachments in QR ;)

Is there any way to force the use of the Enhanced Editor when in QE even if you have the Standard Editor selected as your default? That would solve my issue I mentioned 3 posts ago.

1. Admin CP >> Maintenance >> Execute SQL Query

2. Then from the drop down list, select Show Enhanced (WYSIWYG) Editor Toolbar

Also set this as the default for new registrations:

3. Admin CP >> Settings >> Options >> User Registration Options

4. Scroll down to >> Default Registration Options

5. Set Message Editor Interface to Show Enhanced (WYSIWYG) Editor Toolbar

Thanks djbaxter, although that will make everyone use the Enhanced as their default it will not prevent the standard editor from being used in QE if they select the standard editor after I ran the query. I need them to be able to use the standard editor if they choose but force the Enhanced while in QE no matter what they have as their default.

Hence my interest in this mod, I was thinking to force the Enhanced editor even if they choose the standard for QE.

Don't force users and don't make any changes in the modification, Just wait to the next version, All of theses things has already done in the next version, It's just I don't have much time to QA'ed it and release it.

Will do!! That's a whole lot easier. Thank you Marco! :)

Excelent, thanks !

shyguy82 06-19-2011 12:46 AM

Thanks, great mod, although I won't be using it because of the copyright text. I just modified templates manually and I have the same FULL EDITOR in my quick reply :)

Translation: You stole the code and edited it manually to avoid displaying the copyright, correct?

Sarteck 06-19-2011 08:49 PM

I don't mind the copyright, myself... but I did alter it to say "Advanced Quick Reply/Edit Developed By" rather than "Forum Modifications Developed By." Hope you don't mind too much--it's just that not all of my forum modifications were developed by you. XD

Marco1 i have set "Table Features" to yes and all the buttons are visible but greyed out in the quick reply, quick editor and the advanced mode.

Am i missing a setting somewhere maybe ?

*edit* never mind, it was my own fault.
I had "Message Posting Interface Options" set to "Standard Controls".

Sorry :)

CRDeveloper 06-20-2011 01:07 AM

Thanks! Installed!

At ACP choose Style manager (at the style to be modified--->edit templates-->double click on CSS Templates, double click on additional.css and add to change background color from grey e.g. to color #d3ddf3:

Code:

.cke_skin_kama .cke_wrapper {
        background-color: #d3ddf3 !important;
}

To use e.g. border color #acacff, border 1px solid and padding 0px:

Code:

span.cke_skin_kama {
        border: 1px solid #acacff !important;
        padding: 0px !important;
}

To change the background color of the text box from white to #333333 :

Code:

.cke_skin_kama textarea.cke_source {
        background-color: #333333 !important;
}

Use your desired color / padding / thickness of the border.

No need to edit the original css'es. These changes will remain at every update then, since the original css'es are untouched.

Enjoy! ;)

Greets Vaira.

AFTER ADD:

PHP Code:

$this->addCustomToolbarButtons();

FIND:

PHP Code:

array('Table''TableProperties''DeleteTable''-',  'InsertRowBefore''InsertRowAfter''DeleteRow''-',  'InsertColumnBefore''InsertColumnAfter''DeleteColumn''-',  'Subscript''Superscript''HorizontalRule'),

That's already done as I said in one of my replies at this thread.

It should be released today to tomorrow.

dai-kun 06-24-2011 12:11 AM

I have a small problem, nothing urgent, but there are 2 switch to source mode button in advance editor.

rasp187 06-24-2011 01:58 AM

Hmm, the arrows for the font/size aren't showing...just squares. Any ideas on that?

rasp187 06-24-2011 02:17 AM

Eh, uninstalled. Riddled with bugs if you disabled certain things including database errors and still that ridiculous footer copyright that says "Forum Modifications by..."
