As this is flagged as unsupported and the Dev hasn't been online for at least 2 weeks (last login is last month), I wouldn't hold out too much hope. More than likely someone else will have to create it. Hopefully he shows back up and updates it, but...

Just gave this a shot and it doesn't appear to work for me. When I select the text, I get the small "quote" popup box, I click it and then I get redirected to domain.com/#. Not sure what to check now?

Working fine for me on Chrome 12.0.742.100

Same version as I have.

I also tried on FF5 as well as latest IE9, same problem on each browser. As it works for others, I'm assuming it's a specific mod I have installed that's causing the problem. I disabled a couple offhand that I thought might be affecting it but so far no changes.

Looks like it's a localized problem to me only, don't worry too much about it I suppose. But if you have any ideas or suggestions on how to track it down, I'm ready to hear 'em! =) Regardless, thanks for updating the mod and I'm glad it's working for others.

If you site is CreativX, the file was not replaced.

Just a quick update, ForumOps was able to get this working on my forum.

The problem was, my browser was holding on to a cache'd version of the .js file (what he updated), so it was always using the old one. When I finally got it to delete, it was then working fine for me.

You know what would be awesome; if when selecting your text in a post you get the "Quote" pop-up but that also includes "Multi-Quote"; if you would click on multi-quote then the screen stays in place and does not jump to the bottom to the editor so you can keep quoting and clicking finally "Quote" to return to the editor with all the other quotes. We can also get a small popup saying something like "Quote added to editor" or something when clicking "Multi-Quote" just to confirm we added the quote to the editor. This way we can use this mod to multi-quote the selected text and not the entire post (if we don't have too :) )What say you people??!!

ForumsMods could actually just release this iQuote as a new mod specifically for vbulletin 4.1.4, for the CKEditor, as it is reusable code :D

One issue I'm having is that when I click "Reply" on a thread, without quoting any text (as I don't want to), I get a popup stating that I need to select text to quote first, or click OK to continue and quote all text, or cancel.

If I disable this mod, it works as normal (drops me into the quick reply box).

Ok i installed this mod and tried it. When i select a text i want to quote the Quote button appears and when i click it it goes to bottom of page as it will try to post and quickly redirects me to board index page. What could be wrong here?I am using Vb 4.1.4 and i installed the updated version of this mod.

In the admin cp there is an option to disable the pop up, there is no need to disable the entire mod, just to get rid of it :D

Make sure you're using the version posted in this thread a couple of pages back, someone else updated it to work correctly with 4.14

I installed the modified version that's posted couple pages back by ForumMods and still have the same problem. Also another user posted same problem with the same version right after ForumMods update zip on page 8 i believe. Thanks for the reply!
