That's usually because you have no information set in the options.

I had to uninstall this :(

With it enabled my site was taking approx 2.4 seconds to load a page, when I disabled it loading times fell back to 0.55 seconds. Not sure if it was conflicting with something else.

I only had it enabled in forumdisplay of forum X but for some reason my whole site was lagging.

Shame as it is a good mod

Ask Rag for the none auto version.

Brandon Sheley 12-10-2010 03:57 AM

thanks for the mod, it's running great on 4.1 pl2 in our movies forum, the perfect addition :)

actually nvm.. there is an issue with the quick reply
my qr works when the mod is disabled, and doesn't if the mod is enabled
doesn't have to even be in the "movies" section

hopefully there is a fix, this looks like a nice mod.

preemz10314 12-17-2010 05:29 PM

This was lagging my forums to but i like this mod,, like stated above,,, where is this none auto version? and why not upload it for those of us who's sites are lagging after install.

RobbieZ 12-18-2010 12:50 AM

I have the non auto version but it's not my call to post, I would need the coders permission unless he posts it himself..

preemz10314 12-19-2010 06:16 PM

I dont see why he wouldnt post the non auto version if so many other users have noticed lag after install.. seems like if you want support for this mod you have to buy it...well how about offering a great mod then being rewarded. not forcing money for help..i really find this mod is a nice touch but it lags out..

Brandon Sheley 12-19-2010 06:51 PM

I'd just be happy it the plugin worked and didn't kill my quick reply
Is this not happening to anyone else that's testing this mod?

preemz10314 12-21-2010 02:48 PM

This mod requires a good amount of resources. At first install I was on a poor host. I have since moved onto my own VPS, and the lag after enabling has ceased. So if you are hosted with a host that has a poor server you will more then likely feel the lag of this mod. If you are on your own VPS or dedicated server you will be just fine.

preemz10314 12-22-2010 11:33 AM

It shows up fine on forumhome below the navbar, when inserted into my movie section it is above navbar pushing the navbar down? Any idea how to fix? marked as installed, just need a good host to run this mod without lag I guess.

Use the manual command {vb:raw motweek} and place it after the navbar call on forumhome.

This basically is way off from what I needed, but i managed to fix it anyway. How do you stop this mod from showing on forum home? I took out the code from forum home completely and only added it to forum display to show in the movie section but it still shows on the main forum..

Gemma 12-22-2010 05:25 PM

AdminCP > Settings > MOTW - Movie Of The Week

MOTW Location set to disabled

yep this is the fix...now it seems the rotten tomaotes thing doesnt want to work. the youtube trailer works fine... this mod is freagin headache.

RobbieZ 12-23-2010 02:00 AM

Is rotten tomatoes auto as well? I have 3 different versions of this mod, and what film are you trying to call to?

Make sure the short code you are asked to insert for rotten tomatoes works fine, ie try the full link in your browser screen.

The mod will break if the link isn't viable.

preemz10314 12-23-2010 10:32 AM

I was trying to do The Town, seems just the town didnt want to work, I tested with , Tron, due date, and a few others and worked well. The mod is honestly a great mod. and i nominated it for MOTM. What I think would be a great sister mod is a Game of The Month mod. Which I am currently looking into based off this.

ProFifaLeagues 12-23-2010 10:37 AM

Game of the month mo would be Class if anyone comes up with that im sure it would be well used!

reg_vb 01-06-2011 04:34 PM

Does this mod work for 4.1.0?

ravenfaust 01-09-2011 07:49 AM

I have done all the required steps but can not seem to get it to work.

Please Help

Preech 01-09-2011 11:47 AM

Is there anyway, we could get this like a artist of the week.

Mr. Kage 01-09-2011 09:17 PM

I just noticed a weird bug. Whenever the plugin is turned on, it adds a "Add to Friends" link on a members page even if they're already your friend. If it's turned off, it works as normal. Great mod though.

ravenfaust 01-11-2011 05:11 PM

Can you please fix my issue?

reg_vb 01-12-2011 03:12 PM

I'm getting this error message at the top of the page

Warning: file_get_contents(http://api.themoviedb.org/2.1/Movie....ba4b759086a55/) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request in [path]/global.php(29) : eval()'d code on line 15

And none of the movie information is loading, using it in 4.1.1

Fixed, follow the instructions, I was putting the complete link instead of just the trailing numbers.

Wild Bronco 02-02-2011 11:57 AM

I would love to see this mod upgraded for 4.1.1

Gemma 02-18-2011 04:43 PM

Well for whatever reason it seems to be working well again since upgrading to vB 4.1.2

togotutor 05-16-2011 07:41 PM

Thank You , I have saved it for later.

fusionpot 08-11-2011 02:49 PM

i have an issue with this plugin now since upgrading to version (vBulletin 4.1.5 Patch Level 1) any time i try to edit, post, delete a thread or post it does not show or allow text. i am %100 sure that this is a motw issue.

please fix this asap thank you.

Gemma 08-11-2011 05:08 PM

Works perfectly with vB 4.1.5pl1

Bob_R 08-13-2011 12:43 PM

So, it only shows a trailer not the whole movie?

fusionpot 08-13-2011 07:42 PM

It is the same files as are used here. I haven't modified anything.

i cant seem to get mine to work without it messing with the edit reply section of my forums.

Kijken 08-16-2011 01:12 PM

Same problem here on 4.1.5. When activating the mod, it's not possible to edit or start a thread.

Gemma 08-17-2011 04:31 PM

Do you receive any error messages???

Kijken 08-17-2011 08:37 PM

No, after I install the mod I can't use the text editor, which you use normally posting a thread.
It's only possible to use the 'subjest area' (The small one at the top of the editor), but I'm not able to use the main text area. The main text area is visible, but you can't put some text in there.
I hope you understand my explanation

Gemma 08-17-2011 11:08 PM

Strange, I see no reason why it would cause problems with the editor as it is only a placement in forumhome or forumdisplay. There isn't even any jscript that could conflict with the CK Editor.

Kijken 08-17-2011 11:48 PM

I'll show it to you with some screens:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/09/20.gif

After uninstalling the mod it looks like this:

fusionpot 08-18-2011 02:32 AM

thats the issue i have, i contacted vbulletin and they said to get ahold of who made the plugin
