I'm unable to confirm this issue on my test board, so I'm sadly unable to assist any further :(

there were two versions of this at the time I was downloading - one from your site, and once from here. Can't remember which was which, but I tried the other download and things are fine now.
|
where do i install this?
|
You can read the readme.txt file for installation instructions :)

Please tell me how can I use currency of DragonByte Tech: vBCredits II Deluxe (Lite) for DragonByte Tech: vBShop (Lite).
Ex: With vBCredits II Deluxe, I have two currency integration such as hand cash and bank cash but when I create an item in vBShop, it's always notice that "Missing Required Information: Currency." Thanks. |
Go into Currency Manager, either change the default currency or add a new currency and use user for the table and credits for the points field - that's the default vBCredits currency :)

Just upgraded and noticed a little problem with adding items to the cart with internet explorer 8 and 9.
When you click the purchase button for the first item, it shows the item in your cart and marks it as "already owned / in cart" as it should. But if you try to purchase additional items, it doesn't update the cart or grey out the purchase button. If you click the "view cart / checkout" button it shows that it does indeed add the additional items but just doesnt update the cart via AJAX before checking out. Also, the "hover" feature that allows you to view the description and price of an item is hit or miss in internet explorer. Sometimes it works as it should but other times the box pops up for a split second and then disappears. I've checked it with firefox and chrome aswell, and its only happening in internet explorer. Great mod btw! |
I get this error

vB3 does not inherently support PHP 5.3. You should consider upgrading to vB4.
Edit those two files replacing all instances of =& new with = new :) Fillip |
worked! Thank you
|
kBank is not a part of vBShop so your warning is false :)
I can't tell you what files to remove as I have never used kBank, but re-download that mod and remove the /includes/xml/cpnav_<>.xml file that came with that mod :) Fillip |
Hello. The shop ruins my template.. This is how it looks at the moment
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2012/03/13.png And this is how I want it to look. May I have some help doing this? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2012/03/14.png |
Sorry, your skin is too narrow for vBShop to display correctly :(

The shop is hardcoded to display 5 items wide at this time. I may be able to change it in the future, but it's not something I can whip up right now :(
Fillip |
So i cant just change some code?
|
That's correct.
Fillip |
Then I dont think i'll be able to use the system.. Thats such a shame cuz it is a really good system
|
Nothing has changed in the Lite version for vBShout v2.2.3, I'm merely uploading a fresh .zip to keep it in line with the Pro version.

Is the username issue progressing?
As special usernames can't be donated/taken points from.... |
I am unable to replicate any issues with users with special characters. Please post an affected username if you believe the issue is persisting.
Fillip |
Oops sorry it is in vbCreditz it has an issue with special charaters like the TM
|
Aha okay, please re-post that issue in the appropriate thread then :)
Fillip |
I would just like a direct confirmation of this please and with my situation.
I want to make various shops for different members on my site and allow each to put real world items in that other members can buy using Paypal, cash or some kind or real world payment process. It is all feasible and if so I will also upgrade to the Pro!:) |
Sorry, that's not possible :(
In the Pro version, members can create their own shops and ask people to fill out fields that could be used for shipping information, but there'd be no way to ensure the fields were filled out, and vBShop does not support PayPal. The closest thing would be to integrate it with vBCredits II Deluxe and set up a custom currency that can only be bought via PayPal, and set that currency (and only that currency) to be usable via custom shops. Fillip |
How can I use this mod with the following currency:
[vBC] vBCredits v2.0.0 (vB3.8.x) (Virtual Points) https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=245226& |
I believe the Points Field for vBCredits is credits by default :)
Fillip |
Thanks. Few other things:
1) Is there a way to hide or remove the 'Shop List' block? 2) In the vBShop page, my currency is displayed as "Points" under "Your Wallet." How can I change 'Points' to something else? 3) How can I remove the items from being displayed in the user's postbit? |
Any response?

The only way to receive an answer is to either post a new post, or (preferrably) post in our Support forums, since we have much better control over issue handling there :) Fillip |

I want to hide the items from the postbit altogether. I don't want anything displayed in users' postbits. Is this not possible? Surely there must be some piece of code I can remove that enables items to be displayed in postbit? Quote:
