snowlion, did you do anything different to get it working? I had it working with the previous version of vBcredits, but when I did the upgrade to v2.0 it stopped working.

I just imported and do nothing :D. Did you try to uninstall and then reinstall it?

I'm going to run through the post thanks add-on instructions first and see if I can reinstall that before reinstalling vBcredits and possibly losing information. Thanks

I've been using this code for years and everything works well.

ve just installed the addon it the VB.
However, an error may have perhaps someone. If a user wants to register.
Does he get no credit. And when the respective groups will change this error.

The current version doesn't have any security holes, users have been using the software for a number of years. I'm not sure WHO they are, that your referring to.

As magic stated above, if you have any bugs to report please forward them to vbcredits[@]gmail.com. And we'll look into it.

Could you please help me out - I can't get the Negation Multiplier working.
When somebody deletes his post nothing happens. Credits are not deducted even though the Negation Multiplier is -1 at the moment. Can you please tell me which settings exactly do I have to adjust for the Negation Multiplier to work.

PS: I am only using the following credits:

Another thing: the Award system doesn't work. Even though I'm the administrator I cannot Award neither positive, nor negative credits to users.
What settings must I change for this to work?

Hello guys, plz help me.

I was using vbcredit 1.4rc2 without any problem in my board (ver 3.8.4).

Now after upgrading with this version, I don't see the "Donate" link anywhere, only "check" link is there. Why so?

Am I missing anything in this 2.0 gold version? All my settings have gone.

From where and How to enable this DONATE link?

Or is there anyway to Uninstall this without loosing the Points and go back to my earlier version vbCredit 1.4rc2?

This is good although I cannot get the Lottery part to work, its not even showing anywhere.

I cannot do the 'go to vbcredits.com and register your URL' part as the forum there has registration disabled, plus its localhost at the moment too.

Manually visiting what I think is the URL, /credits.php?do=lottery will throw a database error:
probably due to their being no id. Almost as though it did not install properly or something. :confused: :)

No idea why, but this crashed my acp. It made all the pages blank. I'm gonna pass on this one.

We've never had an issue with that ever happening with this mod. Unless your using other 3rd party hacks. Don't try and use this on vbulletin 4. I've never had the issue you stated above and I did a clean install recently of all these systems for a personal site. And my admincp is working just fine on vb3.8.7.

What you can do is turn on your error logs in php.ini and see what is causing php to crash on your system vs assuming that this mod or other systems is crashing you. It should give you an idea of where the conflict is happening in your server/site. Feel free to PM me to help trouble shoot if you need.

I think i know what happened here. You didn't upload the files correctly. I did the same thing. Crash the forum as in, 500 error.

There you have it. This addon for vBCredits and vBookie is rather old (2007), but its the latest release.

It is for 3.8.x, not for 4.x.x. I wouldn't recommened it to do an installation on 4.x.x, except if you just want to test it. Don't try to install it on 4.x.x on your public website, only in a local copy or (if installed) the secured copy on your website.
