Any idea where I should search wrong settings?

Hello,

You can try to disable one by one your forum's add-ons. Maybe there is something that makes a conflict with the template.

Thank you.

gonzek 12-06-2012 07:43 PM

I have only vbtube pro, when I disabled - problem still exists...

Can you give me similar layout to take5?

Have you tried disabling hooks?

gonzek 12-07-2012 10:30 AM

I disabled hooks via Plugin/Hook System - problem still exsists :(

Maybe the problem persists on your content. Try
1) Different column widths
2) Smaller images on the CMS
3) Unpublishing articles in the problematic page until you find the one that causes the issue.

Let me know if this worked.

Where I can find column widths?

I do not know, I'm devastated. I created a new grid and new layout. Please look at attachments.
www.serowar.pl
Problem exists only on this layout. Can you give me link to the another your layout? I'll test that.

I defined only 1 news on the page and added test news without any image.

Hi,

Please check on your forum's section manager (AdminCP/vBulletin CMS/Section Manager) the number of the columns that have been assigned to your forum's front page and then check your home settings through the vBulletin CMS/Layout Manager.

If that doesn't work, try to import the default vbulletin-grid.xml file through AdminCP/vBulletin CMS/Download Upload Grids.

It looks like something has changed your grid's configuration.

Thank you.

Hello,

Are you sure that you are modifying the homepage layout? Please edit the default home layout or reset your grids.

Other than that, I am sorry but we can't really understand what is going on in your board. Something has messed your forum's CMS grid or layout manager and it is impossible for us to pinpoint it without actually digging at your installation.

I installed 3 other styles today. All of that are OK.

Mother of god, this is a nice looking theme. Sadly, it doesn't fit what I'm looking for (as my forum's colors don't match these) but I thought I'd drop you a hearty compliment since I'm nice and it's the holidays. Great work!

This theme has inspired me to dabble in coming up with my own version of such by changing the header banner, status icons, blockheads, background, and more.

Here is what I came up with ....

Thank you for such a great layout to work with.

I would like to give kudos to you by adding a link saying, "Style inspired from ...." and place a link to your site. But in order to have it show up in the proper text format/style I don't know how. Could you give me an example so that all I have to do is fill in the text? (I'm no coder at all :)

Thanks

Hello,

Since you succeeded in removing our copyright link of the original version, I guess that you can easily add a (Inspired by) phrase of your choosing at the same place.

Cheers :)

Very nice style and I plan on getting the fluid one here shortly. I am using v4.1.12

One question though: I am using Forum Live Feed & User Wall by DragonByte Technologies and everything works fine but one thing:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

The hyperlink to the posts doesn't highlight (different color). It does on the threads though, just not on the last posts. I am not sure if this can be fixed by a simple stylevar change or not - I am not sure where to change the color so the hyperlink stands out.

Thanks.

Hi,
Is there a way to edit the colour of the top links in the nav bar above the banner?

Welcome, notifications, my profile, settings etc.

Want to make them white but can't seem to find the correct option.

Thanks in advance.

deathtrancer 09-18-2013 02:27 PM

nice work sir. ;) do you customized icons as well?

Hello,

You just need to remove the lines below from the additional.css of the Take Five template.

Code to be removed:
Code:

.toplinks ul.isuser li, .toplinks ul.nouser li{ background-image:url(images/Take5/elements/navbar.png); background-color:transparent; }
.toplinks ul.isuser li a, .toplinks ul.nouser li a{ background-image:url(images/Take5/elements/navbar.png); background-color:transparent; }

.toplinks .logindetails { background-image:url(images/Take5/elements/navbar.png); background-color:transparent; }

Then, find the stylevars toplinks_background and toplinks_color of the Take Five template and choose a white background color and another text color for your Welcome label.

Thank you.

Dear Web & art I really love your theme and I am going to test it for a few days and if I am still using it in a few days I have decided I will go buy the full version because this just fits my theme so well.

I have 1 question though, how do I change the Hand to my own Logo?

Thank you

tommylayton 05-11-2014 02:40 PM

WebandArt since I have begun testing this style I have found a bug.

I am getting an error below

Warning: Illegal string offset 'type' in ..../includes/class_postbit.php(345) : eval()'d code on line 86

This error happens when i view any thread that an administrator has posted in, such as

http://campfishbbq.com/forums/showth...cade-Beta-Test

Any idea why this is happening?

tommylayton 05-11-2014 02:52 PM

fixed problem, ibproarcade disable posbit options!!! the marquee jacks things up

Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

About the logo, check the template's stylevar "titleimage" and fill in your logo image path (instead of images/Take5/misc/blank.png).

tommylayton 05-14-2014 03:49 PM

Is there a way to reduce the size of the header and logo by 25%?

Thanks

AuroraStorm 07-29-2014 08:43 PM

I really love this...
