Is there a way we can allow individual users to choose to disable their own status's so that the little edit icon does not show for them?

Not at the moment but like other suggestions we can look at it in a later version.

It will most likely be tomorrow. I released the vB4 version a little earlier than vB3. With that release we've discovered a few issues with the menu system and I will be creating my own one, cross browser issues and such. I'm terribly sorry for the delay. I will have it to you as soon as it is ready.

this happens when in click on someones profile. I disabled it but the I ve got the same error. someone please help

What version of vBulletin are you running?

I believe this was one of the bugs fixed in 4.0.5, so try upgrading to that.

this is a great mod indeed. but after i installed this on 2 boards, its messing up the edit post/thread.
ie: after you have made a post and you submit it, then decide to edit the post, after you have finished editing, soon as you click "save" the writing appears in the left and the post is blank...its looks like this in attachment.
hope this can be fixed as its a great mod thanks. im using firfox. running this mod on vb3.8.5, 3.8.6
i have a screen shot of before and after editing a thread/post.

I had the same problem as jaycob, had to un-install the mod.

there should be an option No mood , also same for default status , and how do we put the mood and status in different template spots ? in custom locations in postbit etc

There is an option to turn each on/off separately. Look in the vBulletin Options.

Custom locations is currently not a feature built in but advanced users could simply edit the template hook location located in the /dbtech/status/hooks files.

no i mean per user, if the user dont want to have a status to show nothing , i can only do this by placing a   in "Please enter the default status new users should have."

Just leave the default option blank and it will remove them from users that have nothing set.

if u put it blank then u cant switch back to no status if u have something set before, it wont save, thats why i had to use a   , maybe there should be a no status option where it wont show nothing

edit , there is also no mood option :/ (per user) to change from current mood to nothing

Oh, I see now. I thought I had included that while building the mod. I'll look at doing it in a future version.

A lot of great Pro versions for those with established websites! (yes my site has a bad banner, we're up for 12 hours in test mode :()

yeah so far so good. It seems much better.

I had a bit of trouble with the menus tho. I would select one and try and move my mouse down but it would change menus before I could even select an image lol.

We can look at this for future versions of course :)
