Please coder provide an update if possible....

can't confirm this, just installed it fine on 4.1.4.

in editor and posts/threads appear with correct date & timestamps.

Is it possible to add multiple thread owners?

Thanks

flbutterflyz 07-02-2011 05:26 PM

Sure it installed just fine but I'm having the same problems with posts timing. More drama than it's worth. Uninstalled.

Yes there is a time/date issue with this. It is an EXCELLENT mod but time/date is real confusing.

Hopefully the coder can fix this.

Come posso rimuovere le impostazioni su data e ora, e lasciare solo quelle sull'autore, quando APRO un topic?
Mentre quando MODIFICO un topic va bene che restano tutte le impostazioni.
Sorry for my english...

Domy 08-04-2011 09:44 PM

How can I remove the date and time settings, and leave only the author, when I OPEN a topic?
As when EDITING a topic that goes well all the settings remain.
Sorry for my english.

Domy 08-07-2011 10:35 PM

Up!

David_R 08-13-2011 05:47 AM

I tried Installing its not working @ all in Vbulletin 4.1.4 I dunno whats wrong. Can you please help me..?

Bladerah 08-15-2011 06:58 PM

i dunno, but its not working at all for me either

Gecuba 08-16-2011 09:29 AM

Mod is not working in 4.1.5 version. The option for editing Author-Date-Time isn't appear (expanded editing).

CraiovaOnLine 08-24-2011 07:58 AM

this would be so ASOME if i could post as unregistred with a name at my choosing

thunderclap82 08-30-2011 02:00 PM

This mod works for me in 4.1.5, but I too have the date error.

Majest 09-16-2011 03:40 AM

I have installed this due to the date error. It's a shame as it was a nice mod. If the date error is fixed I'll install it again.

I agree, was working good till recently. Installed on vBulletin 4.1.7. And after a server move, now all my threads are showing as 6 or 7 hours off (too early). I want the change author of threads / posts at least. Can someone fix this or release version for just "change author" feature please? lol

MyPeSePe 10-22-2011 09:59 PM

Thank you very much, had many guest posts by a user's old and I come from a pearl

Za4a Tuner 10-27-2011 05:53 PM

Installed on vB4.1.6 -> but when i change a post to an older date -> the whole thread is deleted!

Pgolus 11-06-2011 12:24 AM

Installed on vB4.1.6. I see now see errors in my server log every time I go into Advanced Edit:

File does not exist: /home/bbs/public/clientscript/datepicker

The error is being thrown by /home/bbs/public/editpost.php?p=xxxxxx;do=editpost

I've done a "find" looking for datepicker anywhere on the system but no luck.

yjeanrenaud 11-08-2011 01:49 PM

when will cms integration come back?

ViperE-mpire 11-11-2011 01:43 PM

Get this work with the CMS and I'll install it day 1.

Joe Siegler 11-12-2011 04:40 AM

I've noticed since I updated to vB 4.17, my own posts are an hour behind real time. Any new post or reply has the wrong date. I've had to remove the plugin, because too many posts I'm not noticing they're in the wrong spot.

I'll still activate it when I need to use it to really edit something, but I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem.

spillage 11-18-2011 11:30 PM

For me, quick replies are fine... anything that uses the Advanced editor injects a 3hr offset on the time-stamp when posted.
If I start a new thread it shows as being posted 3 hrs later than it was.
If I edit a post, the time in the field comes up correct, but changes by the offset when saved.

Would a quick fix be to put a local time offset field in the Settings?
Or have a checkbox with the editor field to apply T/D changes... this way we only need to be cognizant of the offset if actually making a T/D change.

yjeanrenaud 11-19-2011 03:46 PM

also, jsquery datetimepickers are wrong.

yjeanrenaud 11-19-2011 04:24 PM

oh and it displays the date and time of the first post in the thread, not the one you edit.

spillage 12-26-2011 01:57 PM

Just upgraded to vB 4.1.9... the time offset issue that started with 4.1.7 still exists.

Is a resolution being worked on, or has support for this Mod ceased?
An progress update would be appreciated, I'm sure.

Thanks,

angeljs 01-10-2012 03:33 PM

Yep, same problem with time and date issues. Really messed up my forums using this mod. :(

thunderclap82 01-20-2012 04:33 PM

Is this mod even being worked on anymore, or has it been abandoned? I've been waiting for CMS to be restored for half a year.

FReeSTER 01-22-2012 03:25 PM

I have it working on my forum 4.1.7
I wish I could get permissions from coder so I can release it and support it.

spillage 01-22-2012 09:38 PM

How did you fix the time offset issue?

I'd say just do it and credit him as the original coder since he is MIA. You'd have the thanks of many users I think!

spillage 01-23-2012 11:05 PM

Except for these recent issues, this is by far the better of this type mod.

I'm inclined to agree with tc82, after all, it does say "Re-usable Code".
Credit the original coder, and go from there.

ali1359 04-11-2012 08:04 AM

I have the same problem . It changes the time .

I'm afraid I don't understand, can you please elaborate?

BTW, you can now change the author of articles once again, sorry for the long wait.

Post 142 I aired my experience with this problem, but was ignored.
This problem exists, but no one wants to acknowledge it, let alone offer a solution.
It is a right PitA having to offset the post time every time you use the Advanced Editor.

Sorry, I was just quite busy, didn't have time to support this mod.

This issue is fixed in 3.0.2.

I'm sure we can all appreciate the difficulty in finding time to work on something like this (I certainly don't hold that against you ;) )
In the interim, an acknowledgement of the issue would have been nice... that way we can live in hope of it being addressed when you do get some time, rather than being left feeling ignored and/or abandoned.

Thank you for finding the time... it is truly appreciated.

Another bug :
when this mod is enable, we can't add any tag to CMS article anymore.
Used with vB4.2.0

Mr_Running 08-01-2012 02:40 PM

Installed.
I have a forums which I would prefer not to display the Author And Creation Date.
This mod allow me to update the date so it appears more current.

Please add two options to not display.
Author
Creation Date.

a bonus would be hide the last edited by <-- Only Admin can view.

Excellent mod :)

Amaury 08-01-2012 05:39 PM

Can the time be changed, too? Also, I see from the screenshot that the date format is DD/MM/YYYY, but what's the date format based on? Is it based on the format for the forum or is it its own individual setting in the modification?

I prefer M/D/YYYY (e.g., 8/1/2012).
