I'm really loving Insights - gives a great real-time overview of forum activity. The one thing I'd like to add is the ability to set your timezone so that the activity graph on the dashboard shows local time and corresponds to your own timezone setting on the forum.

OK, here's another request for the roadmap. The "New Members" statistic is potentially very useful for informing forum admins and mods of potential spam attacks. A sudden rise in registrations is a good indicator. Curently, this statistic is only available for today. It would be great to see this on a graph that showed the last 30 days. Or at the very least, to be able to compare today/yesterday as you can with visitors/pageviews etc.

Sorry, ignore my last post. I just found the "New Member Signups" under the "Traffic" tab. A little misleading but it's there none the less.

This is a great utility/service you are providing, I'm really impressed with the information I'm getting.

I have question, this is a free plug-in, and you are giving forum owners a free service, and you claim that you aren't giving any third parties information without our consent, so how are you covering your expenses? Surely you wouldn't be spending lots of money developing this service for forums without some type of revenue generation, would you?

Sorry, but I'm just a little concerned about continuing use with your product, even though I really like it a lot....

What's happened to the Switch Sites option on insights.gravity.com?

You should be able to switch sites just below the top menu bar on the right hand side. Note that the option only appears if you are managing multiple sites. If you want to add a second site, you can go to settings > manage accounts and add additional sites to manage. If you're not seeing the link you can send an email to insights@gravity.com with your site URL/name and we'll look into it.

re: arabic language, we'll look into it. I think we're supporting arabic language elsewhere so it may be a minor fix.

re: server load. No. We've battle tested Gravity Insights with large and small forums. Our web beacons are strategically placed so that web page content will always load quickly and communication between our web servers and yours is done asynchronously to minimize impact.

Yeah.. I should be seeing it. It was always there, but at some point since y'all announced the Premium service and things changed, it disappeared.

Others are having the issue, I saw a few-day-old post on your support forums asking the same thing.

*edit* Going to Settings > Manage Sites first is a bit quicker than going to Manage Account then Manage Sites..

Honestly, I've temp disabled this plugin. Getting multiple reports that within FireFox & Chrome typing messages are getting very slow, and I noticed this myself as well..

Within quick replies & editing messages.. When typing messages, you type much faster than the letters/numbers come on the screen.. Only happens when the browser is experiencing a huge lag. After disabling the plugin, it was all solved.

Looks good but why hasnt it been updated since April? Does it work with the several vbulletin updates since April. Also I see its $99 is it worth paying for the premium version?

I received this hack / service when I purchased vBSEO and a few weeks later I had to disable it. My forum has been running extremely slow since installing insights and my traffic has suffered drastically because of it. I disabled the hack and it seems better. It's a shame because this is a very nice addition to any forum, but it certainly seemed to slow down mine to the point of disabling.

FYI - I'm on a dedicated server too.

Same here. BigBoard with quite a few servers running for diff services, yet Gravity Insights was slowing my forums! And support is terrible, I waited 1 week until I got a reply. I am a vbseo customer.

Great tool but I cant afford losing visitors.

Sorry to hear, unfortunately I'm in the same boat as you. The tool is very useful, but certainly no where near the loss of traffic. My traffic suffered a lot, in fact almost 10K less visitors in under a month.

One thing you might want to BOLD in the install instructions is the importance of uploading
the FOLDER(Directory) and not just files to the root

Because just uploading files will result in forum urls displaying a blank page
(I know that from experience :-P )

At 12:00 AM Pacific time on April 28th, 2012, Gravity Insights will be permanently shut down and you will no longer be able to log in to the service to view your forum analytics.

Prior to shutdown, you should remove the Gravity Insights plugin from your website. You can find step-by-step instructions for uninstalling the plugin on our support site:
