working just fine and dandy in 4.15 beta! Thanks Walter!!!
|
Working but is there a way to add the results to subnav on cms pages?
|
Does this use a lot server resource or slow server down?
|
It depends on your server, number of active users, product settings.
Try and see. I believe it will work with no problems. |
Hi, I am using VBulletin 4.1.5 and I have installed the latest version of this mod 3.0.2. Basically, when I click on the advanced new posts icon it continues to show me "View New Posts in..." When in fact there are no more new posts to view. Can you please point me in the right direction to resolve this issue? Is SSM the problem and I have to disable it? Thanks in advance for the help.

Thank you
Nice Installed and nominated |
The mod worked fine for a while and now the following error occurs can anyone help?
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@redsoxnationfans.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. |
Anyone having problems in 4.1.9? I would love to see this working on that upgrade!

It works on 4.1.10, at least with it's basic functionality, I haven't gotten deeper yet. But it doesn't show properly here:

I'm testing with 4.2 and getting the same MySQLi error, below:
Note - I've noticed that it only happens if a user logs out or comes to the site and does not have cached login credentials. Once they log-in everything appears to be ok. Database error in vBulletin 4.2.0: Invalid SQL: SELECT COUNT(*) AS posts, post.threadid FROM vb_post as post /*FORCE INDEX (dateline)*/ INNER JOIN vb_thread as thread USING (threadid) INNER JOIN vb_forum AS forum USING (forumid) LEFT JOIN vb_threadread AS threadread ON (threadread.threadid = thread.threadid AND threadread.userid = 0) LEFT JOIN vb_forumread AS forumread ON (forumread.forumid = forum.forumid AND forumread.userid = 0) WHERE thread.visible IN (1) AND thread.forumid NOT IN(7,16,24,8,33,21,136,127,115,138,5,110,25,28,29, 42,80,3,12,134,139,36,131,130,30,99,91,32,82,69,31 ,20,27,26,117,) AND post.dateline > IF(threadread.readtime IS NULL, 1338082997, threadread.readtime) AND thread.lastpost > IF(threadread.readtime IS NULL, 1338082997, threadread.readtime) AND post.dateline > IF(forumread.readtime IS NULL, 1338082997, forumread.readtime) AND thread.lastpost > IF(forumread.readtime IS NULL, 1338082997, forumread.readtime) AND post.dateline > 1338082997 AND thread.lastpost > 1338082997 GROUP BY post.threadid; MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') AND post.dateline > IF(threadread.readtime IS NULL, 1338082997, threadre' at line 8 Error Number : 1064 Request Date : Saturday, May 26th 2012 @ 08:44:21 PM Error Date : Saturday, May 26th 2012 @ 08:44:22 PM Script : http://site/misc.php?show=vsaanp_newposts Referrer : http://site/login.php?do=logout&logo...6f538d64af7e12 IP Address : Username : Unregistered Classname : vB_Database_MySQLi MySQL Version : Regards, John |
At the end of list of excluded forums you have extra comma which produces error:
...27,26,117,). It should not be there. Try rebuilding Forum Information. |

I have only in Forum Advanced 'New Posts' (AJAX) and i need this in cms too |

Found what appears to be a major bug with this mod (4.2.1).
When you close the forum, AND also try to log into it, the amount of new posts turns into your forum closed message. If you are not logged in and the forum is closed the message does not appear. Here is a screenshot; Could not fix the bug noted above. Deleted hack. Shame, it had lots of nice features. |
seems like there are problems with 4.2.2 (both 3.0.2 and 3.0.3) ...
