The only way to do that with this would be to use the MODULE portion of this. Write a custom php file that has the ability to do what you are wanting and add it as a module.

As stated three times in this thread it is the .css file you uploaded to the includes it finishes in -tfh.css or something and that is just from memory from what I have read in this thread - i think it was page 3 or 4 that was answered.

make sure it is the "parent" category.

If you have:-
Main Category
- Website Announcements
- Feedback
- Introductions

Then you put the number for Main Category - you can not have just website announcements showing you need the entire category.

Hey Brendon (Merk), doing what you've been asking about with vb4 is going to be a little difficult (I think). I do have a theory in mind, but its just that.. a theory until I test it out. I'll let you know how it goes and what it will take to pull it off.

yes i have done that and i tried to pu 1, and on the other tab 3 just to see if they are displayin proporly but only the catero for 1 would show and the tab 2 wouldn show category 3.

I 've made 15 tabs and i would like to separate them in different rows
For example i would like to have 5 in first row, 5 in second and 10 in third

I also would like to align tabs to the center of my forum instead to the left that is now.

My forum uses a sidebar,each time I edit the forum home( Puting in the template edit),the forum listing page totally vanish,leaving only the header ,the sidebar and the lower part (Whats going on till the footer).
What am I doing wrong?.I have never edited my forum home.

Nice mod, but would it be possible to let users set which tab they want to load as default? Maybe you can do it via cookie so it doesn't require a database table?

After the edits, you need to create tabs to show the forums, so you can watch the forum in tabs instead of the whole forum at once.

Working on a decent solution for that. The thing is, some people don't want this installed on all styles. Some prefer to only have it installed on a child forum, so auto template edits would make that a mess.

This is a possibility that we've looked into. Its on the drawing board, but isn't even close to being implemented.

Its doable, but would take some serious modifications. I'll put it on the to do list of things to look into.

It works fine on 4.0.1 and was released based on 4.0.1 if anything it will have problems on version lower than 4.0.1

I just looked at your site, you have some funky template issues. First, it appears that you have two main outputs on your FORUMHOME Template. Can't tell if that is because you have it placed once on FORUMHOME and FORUMHOMETAB, but its messed up. I'd have to take a look at your template edits to see what is going on.

That I'll have to look into. I have not messed around with the new vBa yet. Might have some time this weekend to slap it on one of my dev instances and take a look. Is integration just like it was before? if so, you might try and add "indexTFH" in the "this script" part of it to see if that makes it work.

why this product can not be removed?

Uninstall the product, delete all the files that you uploaded and revert the 3 template edits. I just did it on my dev site 2 minutes ago.

i know the intsructions but if i do this i receive the error that i post and is impossible to uninstall.
i'd really want that this product goes on my site but actually i 'm not able to do it ..

When you UNINSTALL, it removes the TABS table. The error you are getting is because you uninstalled (which removes the table) and you didn't remove the files which you are trying to use and they are trying to connect to a table that has been removed. The tabs table is only for this mod, its not used by anything else.

If you clicked on UNINSTALLED, the only way to get the Table back is to import the product XML again.

Like I said in my previous post. to UNINSTALL, you click on the UNINSTALL from the Products Manager. You already did that as the TABLE has been removed. So now what you need to do is remove ALL the files that were uploaded (the names of the files and directories they are located in are in the zip file for reference). Then revert the 3 template edits you made. This is how all mods are removed.

There isn't anything different about uninstalling this than how any other mod on this site is removed. 3 Simple steps.. Uninstall Product, remove uploaded files, revert template edits.

I'd not modified the templates so i've uninstalled and removed files form folders where i'd uploaded firstly.

I have found a problem when I am using either the VSa Chatbox or the GCBOS - Generic Chat Box Operating System.

In IE 8, when some one makes a post / new thread, it does not show up on forum home in the 'New Posts' column and I have waited hours although It does show up in the Whats New tab. To get it to show up, you have to close IE and restart it. I have tested this without the chats and with both chats on IE8.

I have tested on FireFox and it works fine.

I was wondering if anyone may have any thoughts on this matter or maybe a way to fix this please.

Its only doing this when those two mods are also installed, or all the time?
